According to the person who brought the wine, it came from a private cellar where it was stored for several decades. The label was badly damaged. Trusting this was a real Mouton 1924, I feel very honored I was one of the few who had the opportunity to taste/drink it.

  @ 1990 Bordeaux proeverij, restaurant Vis aan de Markt.
  Blind geproefd. Zeer donkerrood, nauwelijks verkleuring aan de rand. Volle geur met bramen, cassis, tabak, cederhout, rook, bloemen. Geconcenteerd en rijp, vleeskersen, geen sprake van uitdroging. Zijdezachte, mediumlang tot lange afdronk. Wat een voorrecht om zo'n stuk geschiedenis te kunnen proeven!
