Bordeaux 2014, 10-years on tasted blind: Expressive nose, fresh lively with a touch of grass, lemon nose, minerals and maritime notes. Really nice. On the palate a little too light to follow up from the great nose. Very good nevertheless. Compared to the two 2014 whites, it confirmed that most white Bordeaux are to be consumed in the first 5 years after release.

Expressive nose with white blossom, grapefruit and peach. Layers of cut grass, toast and spice. Real wet stone character. A burst of green apple and a touch of spice on the palate. Medium bodied and grippy with vibrant acidity. Great persistence on the finish. Delicious. Drink now or hold.
WSET Notes:
Medium lemon.
Pronounced on the nose with white blossom, grapefruit, green apple, peach, grass, wet stone, toast, nutmeg, struck flint. Youthful.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. Medium body, high alcohol, high acidity, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for ageing.

Green apples, honeysuckle, spice box, orange rind, white peach and vanilla emerge from the perfume. On the palate the wine is fruity, lush, creamy and rich, with finishing touches of white peach, waxy lemons, mangos, Granny Smith apples and an array of spices on the backend. Drink from 2023-2035.

The 2020 vintage UGCB tasting in Amsterdam 03/06/2023 (Amsterdam): A lot of vanilla, but still decent, concentration, lovely ripe citrus, refined and convincing; the aftertaste is very balanced.; withe some more years in the bottle this wine will absolutely please every taster.
