This has improed a lot over the years. This has a menthol, anise, petrol-like tone, along with some red fruit. This is really interesting, especially at the pricepoint. This is assertive, with a grittiness.

Pretty pleasant at this stage of its development. The acidity is a bit pronounced but I find that's often the case with Barberas. Pretty jammy, nice fruit, incisive and lively, a bit tart. Definitely more of a food wine vs. something to have by itself.

Elegant new french oak, lushious volatile dark cherries and rasberries. Good balance at a very good price.

Developing nose with black fruit, oak, spices and violets. I know that Clerico is considered a modern producer and this wine has seen 100% french oak, 50% new and 50% old, but this has to much oak. Or the wine doesn't have the fruit to balance the oak.
Dry, oaky, woody and some black fruit and spice on the palate. Lacking the finesse and delicacy that some Barberas can offer. Drink now.

Tart cherries, so fresh! With sweet notes. Deep. Great. Taste: even some tannins, Cherries, balanced, good nice acid. So juicy, so good.
