3/20/2010 - cadams wrote: 88 pointsGreat everyday pinot. It has a very fruity nose to it with a little candied cherry type smell. Second bottle of the night and was great for chatting. Don't know that it would go all that well with food though because of the berry candy type flavors.

5/23/2010 - Joshiemac Likes this wine: 86 pointsKicking this up a few points since the last bottle. Don't know if it was time or what I paired it with, but this was much more enjoyable than previous bottles. Nice soft red fruit with cola elements going on. Would like a little more acidity but can't complain. Drinks well above its price point.

3/30/2010 - luchavino wrote: 85 pointsSour cherry, peat and mineral nose with dray cedar palate and finish. After opening up for an hour the nose has much more black fruit and currant with raspberry on the palate. The dryness has been replaced by a lush smooth finish.

5/16/2010 - JROBAZZI wrote: 85 pointsruby coloured, on the nose I felt spices, currant and caramel, with medium intensity. Light bodied, tannins still need time to soften, a little "warm", meaning acidity doesn't counterbalance the alcohol, lasts 6-7 seconds in the mouth.

1/30/2010 - Battleship wrote: 93 pointsDecanted for 90 minutes and I will start by saying its too early to drink this wine, but if you do, go at least 2+ hours decanting. That said this really took a great roller coaster ride over the next 90 minutes with some Porterhouse steaks. Big and bold enough to compliment the food and has many of the great Bordeaux nose and palate attributes, but it still is a bit disjointed and slightly hot. after the food was done and there was some left to sip alone, it got very tannic on the finish, so I think it was evolving in the decanter, but not in a good direction - maybe e few more hours needed? If someone else poured one tomorrow, i'd happily drink it, but for my other 5, I'm waiting a few more years - the caliber of this wine earns it the right to drink when really ready!
