Red currant and iodine aromas. The mouthfeel was sublime. Piles of velvet. This just totally caressed every corner of your mouth. Deep, dark violet color, super thick mouthfeel. strong aromatics. Medium to long finish. All in all exceptional and well deserving of this score. SO glad I have a handful of this this vintage left. |

Deep fruit, nice nose, what more could you ask for. I think it was Steltzner fruit that went into the '74 Insignia, one of the best wines ever made in Napa, IMHO. |

Paired great with our spicy asian meal. |
