The bubbles are a bit more faded, but there’s still some fizz to it and that nice older champagne flavor. I actually would have pegged this as being a bit older than it actually is. Good wine. |

Deep golden in the glass, nice mature champagne. Interesting drink and still good verve. I wonder if the bottle was not 100% clean it could have probably shown even better. |

With some time in the glass showing candied raspberries, some ripe wild strawberries, dough, citrus peel and hints of moist forest floor on the nose. Tutti frutti with further air. Really nice. Palate is perhaps not as complex, but nice fruit and balance through the curve. Finish a bit disjointed. Strong backbone. Cellar time should be rewarding. 91p. |

Strawberry ... very much strawberry ... raspberry, roses, nice refreshing acidity and quite powerfull taste and impressive length. Very pleasing to drink, and good with white meat today. Quite simple, and not a good QPR today, but it may have the stuffing to add complexity over the next decade and turn into something special. I’ll burry my remaining 2 bottles deep in the cellar and not buy more. |
