Plum and mineral on nose. Cooked stawberry and plum palate. Long lingering finsh. Wonderful now, but still a bit wound up...this has the potential to go another 5+ years for sure. |

Or, on par with their Supertuscan Quadramendo. A few hours in I get some great strawberry flavors, while tannins are present and balanced. Priced like a Rosso, so no complaints. 3.8 stars. |

The nose is huge, with elements of strawberry and cloves as well as a strong cedar overlay. It is big and bold, as one would expect, but perfectly smooth, well integrated and finely structured with moderate tannin and a long finish. There's no reason not to drink this now except, of course, that it's probably going to get better! |

Honey cake and a light cinamon spice as well. Wonderful mouthfeel with a initial baked red berry compote. A nice long finish lasting minutes. Beautiful balance and with a little air from decanting you realize quickly that this wine is at its best. It might even be better than the reservo of the same year. Drink NOW! |
