Clean, lean, crisp and just the right side of neutral on the nose. Fleet-footed sour cherry fruit on the palate, which was bright, elegant and quaffable. Didn't seem eight years old! |

Some may call them a bit weedy, but I find these very light and elegant wines very much to my taste. A touch of tobacco on the nose to go with the cranberry and alpine strawberries. Simple but a nice glass. I'd buy this at the right price, but despite being the same grape and on the spectrum that appeals it still isn't quite like Burgundy. Then again why do I try to compare everything to the Cote d'Or, it's not really a smart move... |

Good mouthfeel, round and smooth, good freshness and a long finish with a sweet touch of the fruit. Elegant expression of Pinot Noir and easy drinking compared to the Pinot Blanc and the Pinot Gris from the same vintage, nevertheless, still very good and in a perfect drinking window now. |
