5/7/2024 - Andy2014 Likes this wine: 92 pointsPale lemon. Medium+ aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit, apple, pear, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, smoke, brioche, hazelnut, almond. High acidity, medium+ body, creamy and long finish. Outstanding and suitable for further ageing. |

5/4/2024 - Takao wrote: 94 pointsMedium lemon. Med(+) aromas of ripe lemon, lemon pith, pomelo, yellow apple, ripe pear, honeysuckle, bread, gun flint, matchstick, creme brûlée, a bit of hazelnut. Medium body, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, long finish. A lot of fruit intensity and a long lemony finish with a slight bitterness that reminds me of citrus pith on the palate. Quite a bit of new oak and lees contact characters but it is so well integrated with intense primary fruits. It has creamy texture making it rich but with its lively acidity and freshness, it doesn’t feel heavy or big. Very tasty now but would age gracefully in the next 10 years. 94/95+ |

4/28/2024 - advinm41 Likes this wine: 92 pointsDelicious wine with nose of green apple, pear, lemon custard, cashews, salinity and buttered toast. Palate is creamy with apples, lemons and pronounced minerality and tart long finish. |

4/26/2024 - etyc Likes this wine: NRBlinded alongside the Sous le Dos d'Âne, this showed/nosed more Puligny (w/ white florals coming to the fore after airing in glass). Had the domaine & appellation correct but the vintage wrong for both. 😂 Similarly (slight oily) textured, this was also slightly more layered with seemingly (just) a bit more extract/concentration. Again, a very delicious & enjoyable start to the evening! |

2020 Olivier Leflaive Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'ÂneChardonnay more |
4/26/2024 - etyc Likes this wine: NRBlinded. This was paired side-by-side the '20 O. Leflaive Champ Gain. Served cold, this took a while to open up. Both wines seemed to have the same maker signature (or perhaps it was also the similar vintage at play). Citrusy nose initially, with more reductive notes of struck match, toast, sesame wafting forth as it aired in the glass. On the palate this showed more of that "salty" minerality as opposed to the Champ Gain. Both had very good mouthfeel, with a slight tinge of that "oily" texture. A very nice start to our dinner! |

2020 Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les RefertsChardonnay more |
4/9/2024 - etyc Likes this wine: NRThis came across somewhere in between the '21 Carillon Referts and the '20 P. Morey Perrieres, and boy, it was quite impressive. More apparent reductive notes, with struck-match & flint on the nose. Layered & textured mouthfeel enveloping the ripe lemony fruit. Again, this will definitely get better with a few more years of ageing. |

4/21/2024 - Casablanca77 Likes this wine: 92 pointsThis was my first Meursault and it was outstanding. Beautiful bouquet on the nose with aromas of lemon, apple and hazelnut. This has high acidity and medium alcohol. The flavors are of pear, apricot, vanilla and a touch of minerality on the lengthy finish. Enjoyed this with crab cakes and salmon. Really wonderful wine! |

4/15/2024 - portman63 Likes this wine: 93 pointsBright golden. Apples and some vanilla & spices, but not evident oak on the nose. Came through similar on palate with lemon curd and more minerality and crispness than I expected. Quite a nice wine at this stage. Doesn't come across as mature, but I think this is at its absolute best. An unexpected pleasure and a good buy given the alternatives in this appellation. |

4/16/2024 - Papies wrote: 92 pointsWhat a pretty surprise here and having tried this blind sort of confused us for what it was. Dry mineral , light smoky , definitely not fatty or oaky at this stage and the fruit is clear, stone fruits and a very Chablis in style. We wondered if this was a 4-5 year old Chablis Premier Criu or even ( we were I. Greece after all) an assyrtiko with its smoky and very mineral edge. Alas no! Very very good! 92 |

4/7/2024 - rosuoter wrote: NRPnP. DIAM10. Dark ruby red colour, not much translucency at the rim. The nose is unyielding, ripe plum, cassis, hints of reduction. On the palate, this is bold with tannin and acidity at the fore. Fruit is quite shy. Not much development in the glass. Seems to be in the dumb phase. |
