3/9/2019 - Burgundy Al wrote: 95 pointsLa Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Late night, small glass, brief note. Dried rose petal with spice and slightly more red fruit than earth. On the delicate side, but so layered and complex, even unfolding in the small, late night La Paulée pour. |

Each vintage it presents a little differently but the main components tend to always be there. The 14 has it in high volume. Intoxicating and decadent on the nose. |

3/13/2019 - onboisduvin Likes this wine: 95 pointsImpeccable scents composed of toast, nuts, yeast, flower and fruits. The most amazing part is not the strength but the perfect ratio of integration. Every vintage of DRC Montrachet I have tasted has this incredible character. |

3/10/2019 - MC wrote: NRDecanted for an hour and enjoyed over the next two. Possible this would have improved with more air, but overall it was good yet outclassed by the G-E, which was more elegant and balanced. While this is a big, powerful wine, I felt the caramel and wood overtones were distracting and didn't enjoy it as much as the G-E as well as a '69 Bouchard Caillerets which were both more enjoyable. Fully mature and past its best, but the combination of elegant, mature fruit and wonderful earth, leather, game elements on the nose was great. Nice finish, and it held up in the glass for the entire evening. Of course this is off the charts expensive, but at least this bottle was very high quality wine, and outclassed the Richebourg. A- |

3/9/2019 - Kemo Sabe Likes this wine: 93 pointsFrom mag. Maybe its the enormous expectations that come with RC and even more so magnums of RC but I thought this was disappointing. A little disjointed, closed and hard to figure out. Wasnt overly ripe - just not presenting much of anything. Could have been closed esp from the format but my notes say fruit well behind the structure which may be a good sign for an 03. |

3/9/2019 - Kemo Sabe Likes this wine: 96 pointsCrazy good bottle of 91 Riche. Amazing nose - cool and refined. Good spice notes on the nose. Asian and Vosne spices on the palate. Burst of pure red berries, raspberry, cherries, high tones fruit. Elegant and highly nuanced. This has plenty left in the tank. |

3/9/2019 - Kemo Sabe Likes this wine: 96 pointsFrom a Jero from Wilson Daniels cellar at dinner with AdV. Bottle #2. Cool red and blue fruits. So much class on the nose. Spices, berries, nuance and power. Elegant and refined. Great purity of red fruit. I was curious how open this would be from Jero and it was giving plenty tonight. A once in a lifetime bottle. AdV said there were maybe 10 of these made. |

Lees and nuts on the palate along with an abundance of freshness. Exceptional nuance and clarity. Perfect balance of all the components. |

3/9/2019 - Kemo Sabe wrote: 98 pointsOn another level vs the rest of the DRC line up. Very supple and already nuanced. While young and ultimately mostly closed this was still giving up red candy, red berries, streaks of darker fruits, violets and a young green note. This wine already has a depth to it. 2 hours later after tasting back vintage DRC the true greatness of this wine comes out. Also the youth - the green note much more pronounced. Obviously the play here is to hold for a very long time. |

3/9/2019 - Kemo Sabe Likes this wine: 95 pointsDeep and richly spiced nose. By far the best texture of the DRC line up. Lots of Vosne spices on the palate. Darker fruits. Still hard to assess other than to say this is greatness in the making. |

3/9/2019 - Kemo Sabe Likes this wine: 95 pointsExuberantly spice nose. This bottle was opened and decanted for a short while prior to serving and it helped. Loads of red candy and bright red cherries. Classic Riche spices out front on the palate. There is also a sweetness on the palate. Great length. Will improve. |
