Gave the wine a 2 hour decant and the palate still felt a little muted, not sure if it needs more age or a longer decant. Even with the muted palate this was an excellent wine and would highly recommend. |

The second glass brought the fruit more to the forefront with lots of overripe cherries and a hint of tobacco. Palate is very ripe and full bodied with lots of fruit, and strong finish that showed off more of the garrigue and damp earth. |
