Barnyard on the nose with fruit followed by black pepper and tabaco. Once we got to the second glass the nose was more fruit and tabaco. Sweet and fruity in the palate, tannins are still there but starting to be well integrated. Ready to drink now but will probably improve the over the next 2-5 years.

Decanted for two hours, chilled to 55 degrees then let warm up to 60 degrees. Served with porchetta style pork chops. Ruby color in the glass, with slight bricking around edges.
Garrigue bomb on the nose - lots of herbal and floral notes, some red fruit and subtle earthiness. Silky, really well-developed tannins, subtle fruit and wonderful balance of acidity and minerality. Drinking beautifully right now.

Hint of garnet, but still ruby (10 years). Red fruits on the nose. Raspberry, a bit of cherry, licorice, a bit of raisin. Fresh, medium+ intensity, high- acid, medium tannins. Drinks very well now (10 years).

Pop and poured. Nice nose-- hints of red/black fruit. Tasting notes have significantly improved since initially tasting in 2016. Sweet tobacco, blacky cherry, strawberry, licorice, earthy. Really enjoyed the juice. Rushed out the door for a trip to France-- this is the perfect bottle to get primed for CDP.
