I would never have guessed 2001. It is many years ago last time I tried this in a much youngest vintage, but this brings me right back to the Dinner in Neive first time I had the pleasure of tasting Braida. Big recommendation |

More smoke and leather on the palate, with a Dr. Pepper finish. With this madman’s mixture, I never would have guessed this was a Barbera-based blend (although Dr. Pepper is kind of my shibboleth note for Barbera). There’s a slightly disagreeable cough syrup thing going on though… and that kills it for me. You may disagree. |
