Gift from private collection stored in ideal temperature and humidity in custom cellar. Cork was split mid-way, but bottle was otherwise perfect. Decanted. Initial nose was very complex with dark currant and cherry notes, definitely farm-y, but cleared shortly thereafter. After decanting for 4 hrs, served with Thanksgiving dinner. Beautiful orange tinged hue. Delicious full body with very rounded tannins. Nice cedar notes on the palate, even a vague hint of mint. Earthy, well-balanced, delicious.

Purchased at the winery. Stored at 55 deg. 14% ABV. Blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot, Cab Franc. Beatiful dark ruby color. Toasty complex nose. Full-bodied flavor with dark deep fruits and graphite. Nice long finish. Has the boldness of california cab with the added complexity of a bordeaux. As good as when tasted at the winery.

Purchased from HDH, stored at 55 deg. 14.8% ABV. Deep dark color. Nose was immediate fruit bomb and high alcohol content was very evident. Initial palate also with loads of fruit. After 30-60 minutes, the abundance of alcohol rounded out nicely to reveal balanced Syrah, typical of the varietal. Strong but not overpowering. Tannins have already smoothed out. Very drinkable right now. Finish was medium length, somewhat shorter than expected based on the initial nose.

Purchased from HDH. Stored at 53 deg. 14.5% ABV. Popped and poured. Dark color. Nose has leather and wood tones. Palate with lots of dark fruit, hint of chocolate. Spicy. Tannins a bit pronounced, but controlled, esp. with food. Long lingering finish. Some more cellaring would round out the tannins a bit, but very drinkable now with a meal.

Bought at winery in 2008. Stored at 53 deg. Popped and poured. 14% ABV. Garnet color. Very toasty nose with notes of blackcherry and chocolate. Full-bodied with firm but controlled tannins. Lots of tasty oak on the palate with predominant dark fruits. Lengthy 60 sec+ finish. Should hold well in the cellar, but tastes delicious now.

Bought at winery. Stored chilled. 11% ABV. Popped and poured. Golden yellow color. Bright fruity nose. Flavor was more crisp that most Sauternes. Lower %ABV made it less heavy which was a pleasant change. Delicious honey flavor but some acidity from the Sauv Blanc peeks through. Nice long finish. Excellent!

Lots of pepper and spiciness on the palate. Tannins are controlled. 20 sec. finish. Had expected a bit more based on recommendation. Not a bad QPR table wine.

Purchased from retailer, stored at 53 deg. Popped and poured. Signs of past seepage along side of cork that was not apparent until capsule was removed. Golden color. Nose had a stronger smell of alcohol, but other notes were consistent with previous bottle. Predominantly apple flavor on the palate. Abbreviated finish.
