Wonderful wine, closing slowly in on maturity. Tich, layered, exotic fruit, pears, citrus, orange, smoke, minerals. Fine acidity and a firm backbone. Will live on. #Kandestederne

Aromas of pear and smoke. Understated, rich palate. Exotic fruits, spices, mineral driven palate. There’s pepper and curry notes, wax, stone fruits. Linear, precise, world class wine. Chez Finn & Pernille.

Still fresh, clean, mineral-driven with a sound acidity. In the background some more typical Condrieu-notes, exotic fruit, citrus, mango ... very young, still, judging from this bottle. #Kandestederne

My last note talks about a leaner style, certainly not the case tonight. This is a chewy affair, rich with exotic fruit, sweetness, many layers, fine Condrieu-character. Where is this going? I have no idea ... #SøllerødKro

Tasted vis-a-vis the 2012, AD liked this better with it's leaner style, yet with plenty of creamy qualities; has not moved since last time, it seems. #Kandestederne

Opens up with a nose of salty caramel, hazelnuts, flowers and dried fruits. Understated richness, refined palate, marks of pear, spices, almonds. One of the true world class wines that can still be bought at a reasonable price.

Floral, with exotic fruit, with a hint of waxiness. Medium palate weight which was pleasant. Slightly bitter on the finish and overall lacking some acidity/energy. Pleasant is how I would describe the wine.

Great, understated Condrieu. Quiet richness, green and white fruits, a gentle green streak, flowers and minerals. Ligth and elegant compared to the 2013 and on the night, much better for my taste.

Initally quite mineral, tight, on day 2 somewhat broader, richer - but still behind the 2010 in terms iof charm and sexiness ... wait for this, I think.

Luftet en time. Litt varm finish. Jeg synes vinen var best på 15-16 grader.

Very fresh, very classic Condrieu - as of now driven by creamy, exotic fruit. It is not fat, however, tehre is a lightness and elegance here, that works. Will keep, no signs of aging.

Managed to get a glass of this, though it was not part of the tasting; it is clean, mineral, driven by a soft acidity, not aggressive at all. Still completely fresh, more is to come here, for sure, but it is very lovely now with the exotic fruit inkly in the background, rather than playing the leading role. #AndréD

Very young, very primary and very wonderful; peaches, honey, apricots galore here, the minerals and the acidity is in the background, but it is there, and the wine is fresh and vibrant, no fat flabbyness detectable. This will live, surely, for many years, but I have no regrets taking one for the team.

Popped and poured. Pale straw colour. Peaches, tropical fruit, white flowers, sea spray, honey and caramel on the nose and palate. Rich, concentrated and slightly oily textured. Obvious qualities here, but in my view desperately lacking acidity – not a major problem on the attack or mid-palate, but the finish comes across as both cloying and short. Being out of step with the CT majority on my first (serious) Condrieu, obviously makes me cautious as far as scoring is concerned. Perhaps this bottle should have been popped two years ago, or perhaps this is just a varietal thing that requires experience to properly appreciate – hard for me to judge.
A fantastic bottle of Condrieu. Viognier in the restrained style. Pale yellow color. Floral, perfumed nose. A plethora of exotic fruits and flowers on the palate, honeysuckle, nuts and butter. A smooth operator, makes you want to come back to the glass again and again. This is the way Condrieu should taste.

Perfect bottle. Young. Slightly yellow. Flowers, tropic fruit, pineapple, grapes, sea shells, citrus and honey. Great texture, fat yet fresh, good acidity for a Viognier, very balanced, I must say this is the best Condrieu I've ever had. Worth looking for!

Pale yellow. Rich, generous and flowery nose with aromas of peaches, pineapple, fruit cocktail, herbs, mature lemons, nutmeg, violets and a little hint of wood. Full-bodied, round and flowery taste with low acidity. Notes of peach, nutmeg, violets and a pleasant bitterness. Hints of wood. Very good length. Excellent wine!

Six blancs secs à l'aveugle (Chapitre 20, Paris 4e, France): Robe jaune citron intense. Nez sur les petits agrumes, clémentine. Sec, gras en bouche, alcool moyen, corps moyen +, note intense d'abricot en rétro-olfaction, minéralité présente en fin de bouche avec quelques amers. Bel exemple du cru Chéry.

Clear pale straw yellow color. Fresh and inviting, the nose is orange peel, white flowers, hints of almond and light toast. Off dry, medium body, the palate opens sweet with apricot and nectarine, moving to a sharper citrus mid palate, with a big floral component. Medium length finish, solid as usual.

Difficult to score this. Impressive aromatic complexity when it opened up , but it was quite closed for a long time. The trademark honey note of the viognier was very present.
The wine is clearly fine, but I think it would benefit from some more time in bottle.

Lovely lovely ethereally light viognier, none of the heavy handedness, oak, or residual sugar of many. Powedry minerals, white flowers, lemon and lemon blossom on the nose. Pale hue. Juicy yet dry peach/apricot on the palate. Yum.

Artisans vignerons du Rhône (Lavinia, Paris, France): Encore des arômes d'autolyse, accompagnés d'un peu d'épice douce. Il est puissant, l'alcool est peu trop prégnant, il lui faut du temps pour s'ouvrir. A retenter.
