CC CS is my everyday goto wine and I happened to have a couple bottles of the 2011. Generally I pour about a half a bottle into a measuring cup and put the rest in the wine fridge for the next day. When I did this the bouquet filled the room! I was amazed that such an inexpensive, broadly distributed wine could smell so good. It had that minty, eucalyptus aroma one associates with the greater cabernets.
The flavor and body did not disappoint. It was a delicious mouthful which tons of flavor.

This wine is sweet and it has an odd, cooked, creamy characteristic to it. There is also very noticeable new oak flavor that seems added on, almost like the finished product is filtered through oak sawdust before being bottled. It is drinkable, however I don't think I will ever buy it again.

Popped and poured with a hearty stuffed peppers dinner. Was really enjoyable, surprisingly so actually. Have a case or so left in the cellar and I am sure it will last for another couple of years at this level of enjoyment. What a value! The very definition of an everyday great QPR wine.

Been a while since I've had a CC and their wines remain absolutely rock solid, almost unbelievably so. Oak, vanilla and cherry are on offer but the balance and richness are what make these wines stand out. Undoubtedly still one of the best values to be found.

At an apero. Medium purple. Nose of red fruit and...that's it. On the palate rather sweetish with no aromatic complexity. Luckily they also served beer...
good value at $8. Typical sugary style for low end Washington cab. BUT has some good qualities--nice berry profile, soft tannins provides backbone and decent finish. Not a 90, as rated by wine spectator!

Grapey, jammy aromas and flavors of black and blue fruit, walnut shell, cola, and spices. There's no backbone but it's tasty, with pleasant oak spice notes throughout. Fell apart on day 2 but will do in a cinch.

Pretty decent wine for a regular grocery store wine. This Cab has light floral and dark berry notes with a strong vanilla note on the palette, which is my favorite. Light mouth-feel with a smooth finish that is pretty good for a 15ish dollar bottle of wine. Damn I miss drinking my brunellos!

Popped and poured. Nose of black cherry, currant, vanilla and dried herbs. A black cherry core with chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak notes integrated with firm, gripping tannins on the palate. Leads to a medium to long, fruit driven finish. Medium to full bodied with a smooth texture. A simple, straightforward and well made cab. Good QPR.

A solid WA wine, a very nice nose and deep taste with a nice oak finish. The longer the wine breathed the more mild the oak ending became. A very decent low cost wine.

I enjoyed this bottle the second time much more than the first, most probably because it was drank before the meal with hors d'oeurves. Lots of fruit, cherry and vinilla. Light with mild tannins. Drinks more like a merlot than a cab

Very, very nice cab with an impressive taste of strawberry, vanilla; Soft rich, fruity; can be compared with more expensive reds; Had this served at Pro Hockey game; True wine snobs were surprised. Great price would think it's double or triple the price.

color: medium-dark purple velvet; nose: faint oak -- not much; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, appealing dryish taste of tobacco and blackberries, medium- to long-length finish w/notes of blackberries and tasty gum-sucking tannins; overall: restrained yet very nice flavor, very good QPR ($11/bottle), would pair well with grilled meats, suitable for serving to casual company

Surprisingly nice cab. The nose is incredible. The taste upfront is impressive while the end does leave something to be desired (when compared with much more expensive reds) but when it comes to the price it can't be beat!

Forward fruit flavors of strawberry and red fruits, and creamy oak. A very nice and appealing wine for $ 10! Whats not to like, a good wine with food or by itself.

Wow, tastes like cabs 2-3 times the price. Soft, easy drinking. flavors of oak, vanilla and juicy strawberries. This is one of those rare wines that is both a crowd pleaser and one a wine snob can enjoy.

Always reliable, if seldom exciting, this edition comes across as a decent, easy-drinking Cabernet, with quite a bit of fruit and just a kiss of oak. Not a world-beater, but good value for the price. Simple and tasty. A bit on the light side.

I absolutely love this wine on the nose. It's such an attractive combination of toasty oak and supporting fruit. On the palate it falls off a bit, but it still satisfies with creamy mouth feel and hints of milk chocolate. Is there a better domestic Cabernet Sauvignon you can buy for $8-$10 at any grocery store in the country? I haven't found one.

A very light bodied wine for a Cab and disappointing. Crimson color. Mild tannins. Too much fruit for a Cab. The wine was over-powered by the steak. There are better Cabs at this price point
