Bien

This is holding well, although it's starting to shed some fruit. The question is will there be enough to allow for graceful further aging? At the moment the wine is of firm structure and some magic on the nose. Lovely older Saint Emilion.

Plenty going on it with the nose. Powerful fruits slightly held back in the structure. So certainly has more legs in it - at least 5 years. Enjoyable and well made.

Aromas & flavours of cassis, plums, dark chocolate, espresso and graphite. Deep, dense, rich and mouth filling. Well balanced and integrated oak. Medium-plus body and long finish. Tannins have soften and the wine is very approachable. It will drink nicely through 2015 and hold until 2020 at the least.

Good nose with a hint of coriander and tamarind mixed in with spice and plum, medium to full body, more tannins than I like (perhaps it needs to age a bit more), reasonable finish.

Rich, spicy, dark plum and occasional mint and vanilla through the night; with woody spice, and a touch of red plum fruit on the nose. Not fully open. Modern. Very nice.

I really hope this is a rouge bottle as this is seriously disappointng!!.....flat, fat and chunky (in a cumbersome way) and showing alarming acidity. This was also after a good 4 hour plus decant!!. Not quite as bad today as seems to have softened a bit but still not very enjoyable. The fruit seems to be one large incoherent chunk with an unpleasent bitter/sour finish, which is (sadly) quite long

Perhaps a bit young, this was fabulous now for sure and will be utterly amazing in a few years, awesome with the pork dinner this evening - Dark, well concentrated with notes of plum, blackberry, cherry, spice, mint, earth and vanilla on the nose, very well structured, with noticeable tannins, yet elegant and smooth on the palate, with great length, excellent (91 Points).

Aromatic new-oak nose with coffee, toast, leather and rounding currant notes. Full and assertive with warm alcohol and moderate tannin and acidity. Big, toasty finish. A bit astringent now, could use a few more years. 4/5

Millésime assez froid.
Le vin est assez monolithique et ne semble pas ouvert.
S'ouvrira-t-il un jour ?

This does it for me. Rich, generous, mature enough to be fully enjoyed now. Dark and polished, quite delicious.

Medium body, the nose is ok but not excellent. The finish is relatively weak. Not my cup of tea even though it is very famous.
