Dark gold; buttery ripe grape almost Maderized nose; maybe a bad bottle; fat, oily, one dimensional fruit bomb with hot finish (14.5 alc). No Chardonnay character anywhere to be found.

I was surprised by how good this wine was at this price ($18/bottle). Classic RRV Chardonnay profile, very smooth and very tropical with a lot of mango and passionfruit especially when chilled a little more than room temperature. Tasted a tiny bit sweet somehow, but it wasn't sweet...very nice wine, definitely want to get more at this price.

Yellow straw with green hues; very buttery, banana, ripe tropical fruit, full rich and fat, vanilla; bananas galore on the palate, butter, some decent acid on the back end, oak is strong but integrated fairly well; just not my style but a good value if this is your preference.

Great nose of tropical fruits and vanilla. Aromas carry over to the palate, but there was also some bitterness on the finish - very unusual. As others have noted, buttery texture and very much in a California style. I am not going to score as the bitterness causes me think the bottle was "off".

A tasty, moderately buttery, fairly complex chardonnay. Bouquet and taste vanilla, hazelnut, butter, smooth. Very good on its own, but was an excellent compliment to several different Lavashes with various cheeses and barbecue chicken. May improve with age, since it is a young wine and is already very good. $11 / glass at KnB Wine Cellars - great value for $16 flight of 3 wines.

A wonderful California-style chardonnay. There is a lot going on in this wine - not simple at all. Layers of vanilla and hazelnut flavors. Good acidity balance. A little buttery from the MA fermentation, but not overpowering. Lip-smacking delicious on its own, but was an excellent accompaniment to blinis with truffle pearls, and with crab. So glad we have another bottle!

Nice QPR going on here. This wine runs right down the middle regarding fruit, oak, malo, and acid. Nicely balanced. There's something for everyone in this one.

Big, full and rambunctious. Lovely if you like bigger California chards. An amazing deal.
