It lacked fruit and tasted dull when it opened. After 30min or so, it started showing some fruit and lightness. Overall, it lacked flavor and liveliness.

Fairly mature gold. Lots going on in terms of aroma--green and riper fruits, lanolin and fresh oak. Could be a little fuller on the palate but that is a quibble. Seems fully mature to my palate.

10/10, good cork. Bright, medium straw, touch of gold. Nose shows ripe tropical fruit - more pineapple than grapefuit, some butter, grassy notes, spice. Medium/full bodied, this is ripe with lovely weight across the palate, pimeapple, creamy edge, spice, lovely vibrant acidity, extended finish. Drinking well now I would say drink up over the next couple of years.

Very nice! Dark golden color. Lots of stone fruit and maybe lime zest (?) on the nose. The initial pour stopped mid-pallet but after an hour and a half it fully developed. Flavors of peaches on the front and racey lemon on the finish. High and very lovely acidity. I have three more and will try hard not to drink them now.

This wine has really come into form -- it is classic Grave. Golden hue in the glass, very rich and waxy with intensity while still maintaining mineral touch and balance. Really lovely drinking now and interesting to see its evolution over coming 2-4 years

A pale straw Pessac-Leognan with aromas of elderberry, coconut/sunscreen, eucalyptus. Dry, medium(+)-high acidity, medium alcohol @13% abv, and ditto body. Palate of lemon, grapefruit, gooseberry, starfruit, with pepper notes. Focused and tight finish with bitter and peppery notes. Clean and compact. Will mature nicely for another 5-10 years.

Delicious. Golden colour, between straw and honey. Wonderful nose of gooseberry, saline, very fine oak, grapefruit, some bell pepper. Really nice, and unusual. Especially the toastiness of the oak is interesting. On the palate it's the right balance between acidity and length and fullness and mouthfeel. Classy. Some of the gooseberry and salinity remains. Other than that, it's none too specific. Hints of clove. It's long. It has good concentration. One of those wines that tastes as it smells. Not sure this will age, but I'll enjoy the remaining four bottles over the next two to three years.

Impressive. Lemon yellow. Sauvignon dominant nose, but the fat and quite oily texture of the Semillon comes through on the palate. Dry but quite rich, grapefruit notes give way to stone fruits. Complex and long. Developed in glass for a while. Maybe decant? Went very well with grilled fish. Will probably develop further. Best of three white Bordeaux from this vintage that I've tried.

Some clear bottle variation in the 2015 vintage , judging by the reviews on this post... On nose: Charenton melon, and roasted almonds, with a ghost of fresh butter. On palate: a clear follow through of the above flavours , as well as meyer lemon, canned pineapple ( more salty than sweet ,though) distinct mineral notes and well balanced oak and acidity....a well made wine at 6 years of age, but lacks the profile I prefer as seen in my review of the 2014 , from a couple years back.

Light gold color, restrained nose. Brisk acidity. The aromatics seem limited with hints of hay and grapefruit. Pleasant to drink but not very complex. Sadly reminds me of many California Sauvignon blancs that I have tried; these rarely satisfy. This wine may need more time since there are tangible complex elements present.

The pungent notes of sweet honeysuckle are the first thing you notice, before moving on to the citrus peel, pomelo and green apples. The wine is fresh, as well as rich. There is a touch of vanilla, honey and white peach in the endnote that adds fatness to the ripe, citrus fruits.

Graves and Pessac Leognan from bottle: 2015 vintage (UGCB tastings in New York and Washington DC): A somewhat disappointing showing from an estate that usually does better in warmer vintages. I get the feeling that grapes were picked (a bit too) early to maintain freshness, and that the ripeness is not optimal. It has a brisk aspect to be sure, and other tasters enjoyed the freshness, but I think it lacks enough balance.
