From Cinsault with Grenache, Syrah, Merlot. Medium plus nose shows white flowers, strawberry, field grass, raspberry, orange peel. Palate shows nice balance with fruit and acidity, hint of tannin, similar fruit notes to nose. Nothing that stands out flavor wise, but also a spot on example of light rose.

Picked up four of them travelling thru San Jose this week, first go with this vintage (a perennial fav, so obliged to sample). Light salmon color, bright. The nose is an even mixture of soil and sweet red berry components. Light>Medium-bodied, with flavors following the nose; a frreze-dried strawberry note plays well alongside light herb and stone suggestions. Med- finish, a little round for my tastes. Will try another and hope for some more cut.
Served non-blind, SnP.

Friends and I had this at RN74 on 11/5/16. It had deep, attractive bouquet of rose petal, strawberry, tangerine, toast, mineral and herbal aromas. The palate was crisp and sharp with flavors that followed the nose. 89+

Pale pink, impeccably balanced rose with laudable complexity. Medium intensity of flavors, acidity, mineral, subtle creaminess, great sustain. Natural sipper, also good iwith sea bass. Stelvin top bonus.

Was looking to try a new rose for the summer - this one was not my style - too fruit forward and sweet for me.
Flavors of peach, watermelon, strawberry and bubblegum. This was too fruit forward, without much acid balance with somewhat disjointed flavors. Wasn't expecting anything earth shattering - just an inexpensive rose to try - was still disappointed.
Gave away the rest of the bottle to one of our dinner guests. Wouldn't have finished it myself.

Smells fresh and good - aromatic cool mixed fruit, with citrusy, tropical, floral, bubblegum, and fleeting cucumber aspects. Similarly juicy and fresh on the palate, with good acidity. Balanced, refreshing, highly drinkable, good stuff on a warm summer night.

More fruit forward than the '14. Delightful as always, with crisp strawberry and watermelon fruit and lively mouth-feel. Excellent pairing with Salade Nicoise.

Strawberry, lemon peel, carnation and geranium blossoms. Strawberry, cherry and mineral notes on the palate with nice acidity. Still very fresh.

Sydney Rose Soiree (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Candied red berries, tiny touch of wild ferment. Juicy, tangy, the fruit is more savoury on the palate. Okay.

Light, with grapefruit pith, peach, enough bitter edge to keep it interesting. Nicely done.
