Funny, I have so much of this but never drink it. Time to start drinking because its just right in perfect form. Or rather, its just starting to really come together. So drink or hold, but the holder will receive the greater reward.

Darn, off the cork pull that is amazing. Delicate and refined but with such and immense amount of flavor. And the X factor too. Perfect for drinking now.

Bright yellow, matchstick, ripe fruits medium acidity. Very nice today and will hold for at least another couple years but why? It’s very pleasurable today. Enjoy!

HDH auction at Spiaggia; 12/13/2019-12/14/2019 (Chicago, IL): A little cleaner than my last experience with this wine, but the oak use here is far too much. Some sneaky acidity on the back end, but overall this feels too heavy-handed. Slightly oily texture as well.

Plum Market Luxury Tasting (Bad Hunter - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting. Floral start with ripe orchard fruit, more so on nose vs palate, but still rich throughout. Spice on finish with good length. Very good balance, very good+ Villages level wine to enjoy over the next five years.

Tasting, brief note. Floral start with ripe apple and pear aromas. Good palate, even if slightly less complex. So good now, probably even better in another year. Excellent for its level.

All 6 village parcels go into this wine, barrel fermented, little protection makes the site weather sensitive. 15 % nfo, no battonage. I'm fighting a cold and the wine still tastes remarkable.

An association of all the 6 village wines are blended into this. Has that honey tea thing that I think is so lovely. That is banging right now notes Erin. And she is right. No battonage, 15% new oak.

K&L Burgundy Tasting (Summer 2018) (K&L Hollywood): Pretty good Puligny. Very rich, but maybe would have shown better before the Meursault. Good acidity balances richness on the palate with oak spice and citrus. A rather dark finish showing some heat.

Light yellow. Touch of reduction. Medium weight, good amount of glycerine. Lemon and flinty stone with fine acidity. Not overly ripe, gentle underpinning of oak. Excellent at the village level.

P: LM body; NICE frt VERY nicely balanced by acidity which is PROBABLY the dominant aspect of the very LONG, beautifully balanced finish. Though the middle may be lacking a bit of intensity, overall this is LOVELY stuff for now & likely through '21. My EXC-. 16/20 (2x) Jancis Robinson. [This vendor's $54.95 puts it in the top 1/2 of wine-searcher's listings.]

From all specific lieux des on the slope but not in the premier cru sections. Or at least that is not the intent from the outset. Full of life and very open and expressive now.

One ultra corked. One not. The not corked one was just outstanding and beautiful to drink now. Also opened a Premier Cru from 2016 - not ready yet!

Last bottle. Loved it. Bright light yellow. Round ripe orchard fruit, vanilla and menthol on the nose. Juicy white orchard fruit in the mouth. Yummy.
