This comes across a little more muted than anticipated and never really blossoms, with oak elements pressing down on the fruit a little too much and leaving it a little flabby without enough acidity to make it pop.

Not as bad as some of the notes below suggest. Hints of white flowers and orange blossom, a bit flabby in the middle, but perfectly fine with fish. Probably no more that a couple of years left in it though

Pretty mediocre stuff here. Drinks like a $15 bottle. Soft, pale, flabby fruit with no real oak notes. Acidity below where it should be. Was definitely poor after opening, but with some air and warmth it at least became respectable.

Burgundy Tasting (Plum Market - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Spring flowers with Anjou pear, lemon curd and lemon zest throughout. Very good weight for its level. Better to cellar another year or two for oak to soften, but this is a great value wine.

High acid. Citrus, pineapple, vanilla, oak. Nice and well balanced

A little to flabby and oaky for my taste. Golden yellow

Rather too soft and forward. Did they they got the worst of a variable vintage? Disappointing

Gourmet Traveller wine French Chardonnay (Winespace, Surry Hills): Peachy, buttery, slight marzipan, sweet spice; quite rich. And equally rich on the palate; similar flavours, perhaps lacks a little freshness but kind of fun in a blousy way.

Nose: citrus, yellow apples, buttery, nutty. Slightly closed at first, but developes nicely with air. Even better day 2.
Really good, but a bit Too much oak for me. Good value though.
