My second magnum in a short time. It's a beautiful old vine BdB that cost less in magnum than most similar quality 750's. A dense BdB, dominated by yellow apple, brioche, white flowers. Perfect bead, some autolytic notes. Luscious mouthfeel. A crowd pleaser.

From magnum, this was very disappointing as it was seemingly unevolved with a ton of unintegrated sugar. No one wanted to drink this or had anything nice to say about it on this evening, or the following night. This might become the better wine in the long run, but the 2013 drinks an order of magnitude better today for my preferences. Next bottle of this in 5-10 years.

Outstanding out of a magnum. A dense BdB, dominated by yellow apple. Gentle bead, some autolytic notes. Luscious mouthfeel. For some reason, I thought this was an entry level bottling. I was mistaken; this is a wine of distinction.

Haunting Dinner (Ciao Bella, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. Madeliene's, white flowers, yeast, green apple, plush and full bodied, spiced on the finish. 92+pts.

Fully agree w/ the 8 tasting notes to proceed mine. This has "that extra something" in fruit purity, concentration, intensity & weightless elegance rarely found till you break $100 & enter Tete Cuvee territory. Ethereal! Loved it but had only bought one. Quickly, on the hunt for more :).

This came as a surprise to me. Bought it hoping for a solid vintage BdB, but ended up with one of the better Champagnes I have had in the last couple of years. Richness, textured, ripe green apples, anise seed, fresh sourdough, and ripping acidity.

Quick taste, but this was obviously brilliant. Quite rich and fat for 2014 (a cool vintage), but great cut and chalk too. Custardy fruit, quince, apple and citrus, a little something tropical and floral, hawthorn, salty seabreeze, oysters... Silky and dense on the palate, beautiful length and complexity. Great stuff. Will be worth following at least another 5 years.

This is a bright Champagne with pleasantly fine mousse. It has nice apple notes, and it’s starting to express age with a little graham cracker. It has more character than many of the bigger houses at the same price point, and is well worth its price.

A Charity event plus two days of birthday celebration; a memorable three day weekend.; 10/13/2023-10/15/2023 (Samish Hill, Bellingham, WA): A very worthy 2014 in magnum format. Old vine BdB from Oger. Apple, pear tart, brioche, vanilla, but not sweet. Crisp, fresh, mineraled and delicious.

First bottle of Thanksgiving - didn't take notes but remember this having a very fine bead and intense orchard fruit

Punches well above the price point. Clean fresh bubbly with nice core of orchard fruit and good lift. Chardonnay really shines. Yum

From magnum. Nice overall but a little simple and sweet. Was liked by the crowd at Thanksgiving so all is great.
