Light green apple color. Green apples, quince, lemon, and tomatillo on the sharp nose. Very sharp and refreshing with bitter lime, lychee, and a bit of plaintain starch in the finish. Oily, white peppery finish. Still drinking great.

Hard to believe this wine puts out 14.6% alcohol...very well hidden. On nose: pleasing notes of fresh green pears, warm slate stone, and sea salt. On palate:all above flavours amplified on a surprisingly full, rich body, as well as a curious vegetal note of celery, and as it warms up, faint notes of dried apricot and note of parsnip( in a good way). Bone dry, and whatever oak is present, is woven well into the mix. Distinctively New World , a blend of 88% Sauv blanc, 10% Semillon, and a rare varietal Sauv Vert at 2%. Not a shellfish wine, plays well with Salmon and Sea Bass.

Not bad and quite enjoyable. Well suited to a number of foods I’d imagine. Not outrageous on the nose but nicely typical. It’s quite dense and rich which I don’t mind and almost creamy. It’s not light on its feet though to its credit hides the alchohol very well. I was slightly surprised at the 14.6% which you can feel and takes away from the wine a little. Not one I’d be stocking up on especially at the price but the odd bottle is fine.

I’ve reviewed many wines and I’ve never used the word “well delineated “ but there is a first for everything. This is a classic Sav. Blanc. Delicious , with good mineralality , orange blossom, lemon zest and flint. A crisp and smooth mouthful.

In certain vintages this is our favorite Sauvignon Blanc with its bright expressive fruits - pear, lychee, passion fruit and peach with hints of grapefruit and notes of lemon citrus. This 2017 is one of those vintages - butter colored, medium bodied, crisp clean, full flavorful fruits with nicely balanced acidity.

86% S.B., 12% Sémillon, & 2% Sauvignon Vert; "Approximately 3/4 of the fruit underwent gentle, whole-cluster pressing, & the remainder was destemmed before spending between 6 & 12 hrs of skin contact prior to pressing. The juice was fermented in 58% FR oak barrels, 37% s/sl tanks, & 5% concrete eggs. All fermentations were conducted at cold temps to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Upon reaching dryness, the wine was aged on its lees & underwent daily or weekly battonage." 8,428 cases bottled March 2018, released May 2018
N: Apples with undertones of hay; Intensity lurking?
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt pleasingly balanced by an acidity which sets the parameter into & through the LONG, tangy/swt (60:40) finish with a very, VERY slight bitterness that is a + more than anything else. A lithe, fairly tight "food" style wine for now & into at least early '21, I'd guess. 14.6% ABV; My VG+/EXC-, the higher arguably for the QPR of this vendor's $17.99, which is as good as any on wine-searcher.

interesting, this bottle had more fruit on the backend, then the others. I really enjoyed this. A great temp to drink this wine is in the mid 50's. Cheers

Really very nice. Fruity with moderate minus acid. Notes of lemon / citrus and a hint of apple. Went well with pesto, but would also make a nice summer sipper. Just wish it was a few dollars less.

Light straw color. Notes of pineapple, peach, lemon and fresh cut grass. More sweet fruit and roundness on the palate than I recall from prior vintages.

Buncha wines: A wonderful follow-up to the exceptional 2016 vintage, this light gold-colored wine bursts with aromas of papaya, lime, apricot, sea salt, lemon verbena. A creamy rich texture (14.6% alcohol), yet the acidity keeps it lip-smacking. Pineapple, juicy white peach, drizzled with limes. Notes of dried honey, white pepper, mint, with elements of minerals and raw almond. Pretty, complex, balanced Napa Sauvignon Blanc that delivers for the price. Includes a bit of Sémillon and Sauvignon Vert.
