Light pale gold. Nose is subtle with lime and pear notes, but some soft buttery/oaky bits there. Great juicy acidity, nice and mouth-watering with good white fruit finish. Drinking great, easy five good years ahead.

Having loved the previous vintage of this wine, this one just seemed overly heavy, alcoholic and discombobulated. The nose and entry were very nice, but it all fell apart after a few seconds in the mouth. Very heavy and disjointed. Sad, as not a cheap Chardonnay!

This has citrus and tropical fruits. No oxidation- maybe even a touch reduced with slight matchstick nose. Notable but judicious oak. Fresh and full at once.

Opened this bottle after a 2018 Aubert Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. This wine held up really well to the Aubert. Nice notes of citrus, pears and green apples. The acidity mellowed over time and created a really nice finish.

A fresh nose with lemon and and hints of nuts and butter. Tastes of lemon, a slight buttery note and pronounced pepper on the finish. Great balance and a very nice wine overall.

Nose of ocean breeze, lemon and orange blossom. Tastes of sharp lemon evolving into lemon curd then saline and white pepper on the finish. Elegant and pretty, but I probably would not purchase again at this price.

A few Rameys: Medium gold color. Bold and lush aromatically with peanut shells, almond butter, honey, whipped butter, but also salty, lemon meringue, crushed shells and orange blossoms. Lovely depth of texture on the palate with velvety and rich fruit but lively acidity. Lemon curd, apricot, yellow pears. Toast is here (toasted nuts, almond cake, vanilla, coconut) but also notes of hay, sea salt, honeysuckle, white tea. Richly flavorful but pretty, too. Aged for 20 months in 21% new French oak.

Ravinia at Home (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Note from memory from last night. Lots here, very big , fleshy and flashy. Some warmth on finish was more pronounced than I prefer.
