Dark ruby. Oak has been somewhat integrated since my previous note, but still it is quite evident, especially after the wine is aerated for a couple of hours. Sweet vanilla, red and dark cherry, lactic notes and eucalypt on the nose. Medium-bodied, fairly sweet, with soft tannins, ripe fruit and balancing acidity.

Oinorama Wine Fair 2010: (oinorama 2010) This is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Limnio and 20% Xinomavro, it has spent 12 months in oak and another 12 months in bottle. Cherry slightly hazy color, the Cabernet is more apparent in the nose with a few fruits and some spices. Nice texture, full mouth, cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg, medium aftertaste. I think it will develop for another 5 years and it will stay there for 5 more.

Oinorama Wine Fair 2010: (oinorama 2010) This is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Limnio, 20% Xinomavro. Cherry (but tired?) color. Full in the mouth. You can feel the Caberner in there. A little on the fruity side with a hint of pepper. Medium aftertaste. It could use another 4-5 years in the bottle and then it could great for another 5.

A disappointing vintage of one of my favorite Greek reds, more than this one of the wines that triggered my interest and (later) love for wine many years ago. Ruby. Oak and only oak on the nose. Mid-bodied with fair structure (soft tanins and good acidity), but oak dominates here too. Oaky aftertaste. What a pitty!
