Good wine of its type. This is a wine that is not fashionable, due to its sweetness, but as an aperitif its a great way to start the evening. Made from the Moscato Bianco grape, which is the same as in Asti Spumante. This is the wine that I prefer. This one had a lot of frizz and a palate of orange and lemon. A tad too much sweetness, but great for quaffing which is fine at a stated 6% alcohol.

Nothing to complain about. Simple but balanced Moscato D'asti. Nice golden apple, honey and lemon zest aromas. Palate shows decent acidity on the back end.

Clear and pale, with an almost 'soapy' looking collection of bubbles on the surface upon pouring. Smells (herbaceous/geranium) and tastes like a muscat 'grape'. Crisp and refreshing, nothing too complex here. Very light in the mouth with an extremely short finish. All that aside, there is a certain beauty to its simplicity and conciseness. This could serve as a refreshment on a hot day or a desert wine for more of an "everyday" use or for guests who wouldn't notice the difference anyway :)

Nice and refreshing. Saracco has slightly more complex flavor profile than Elio Perrone Moscato d'Asti, but the Perrone has better structure. Both nice on a hot summer day!

Dinner with Todd and Liz (Hemlock Hill): Very nice $15 aperatif; tickles the nose and quite pleasant. Recalled a lovely several days in May spent in Castiglione Tinella at the Albergo Castiglione

Always one of my favorite summer wines. This is simpler than the excellent 2005 but has the same refreshing sweetness. Aromas of pears and with an interesting floral component, reading below, clover is spot on. Dances on the palate sweet without being cloying. Fun stuff.

Still drinkable. Fuzzie and the appletaste more like apricot, compared with the 2019, which is more fresh and less sweet.

Lovely peach flavour. The bubbles are getting a bit tired by now though.

Lovely after dinner wine with something sweet. Just fun, smooth, nice combo of fruits and lively bubbles. Really enjoyed it.

Hazy fizzy color. Herbal nose of basil and rosemary. Sweet almost desert like so a little goes a long way for me.
