Excellent Rose, a bit lighter in color, elegant, 2nd best here just below the Billecart rose 2010. Packed with fruit and cake and biscuit; good concentration, nice. K&L Tent Champagne tasting

Opened slightly too chilled so have a few extra minutes to warm up in glsss. Similar to last year very fresh strawberries on the nose. Same on palate. This was very much one dimensional as this was the singular taste throughout. This could continue to develop over another 5 years.

bright topaz color, nose of sweet pear and strawberry, on the palate ripe with a lean feel to it, grey stones, berry and pear, light to mid-weight, fine dryish finish of exceptional length, wonderful and in need of come cellar time, yet one more data point indicating Veuve Clicquot is back in a great place, attractive now but still a little closed- I would age this is a bit first for best results.

A shout out to DQ, who has been posting numerous champagne reviews - much appreciated! Drank this pre-gaming, before heading out for dinner in NYC to celebrate my wife’s bday. Deeper red than many rosé champagne, with aromas of red fruit, orange peel, and roses, more of the same on the palate. Simple, tart, refreshing.

Unusually dark red in color for being a rose champagne. Distinct taste of strawberry. Easy to drink, but not very complex and poor QPR. There are better standard champagnes at a lower price.

Not a lot on the nose initially but did open to a bouquet of fresh red fruit. Similar taste with fresh strawberries. Did taste linear as this was consistently unchanged throughout the bottle. Could develop further over the next 5-8 years. Will revisit.

this was delicious and we drank it all at one sitting, unlike most champagnes. still, the high acidity was to me a drawback, as mentioned by someone earlier. It tasted sort of like peach coolade infused with sparkling water and alcohol, no mushroom or yeasty notes at all. I am certainly not a champagne expert, but I would suggest based on my favorite examples from more expert friends, that it could benefit from mellowing for a few more years, maybe 5 or more. but we enjoyed it, even though to me it was very overpriced at $100. the nv, at $50 locally, is actually mellower and somewhat easier drinking, if less interesting. but it was a special occasion, was well enjoyed, and i am not sorry i bought it. but at this QPR i will not rush to buy it again.

Deep pink, good persistent bubbles, dry finish, good fruit, drank easily with baked clams and baked lobster, not a typical rose if you closed your eyes would not know, would not choose to drink again as it is pricey- it was a gift.

Disgorged 01/2019. Very similar in style to the NV rosé, but a definite step up. Much more supple and giving right now than the ‘08 is, though I think with less upside. That said, like most 2012’s the acidity is still somewhat linear and will likely integrate more. Could add a point or two in two years. QPR is just ok, though certainly better than the NV here in PA (where the vintage is only $10-15 more).

Gorgeous salmon-pink color. Raspberries and peach with a papery note on the nose. Sweet red berries dominate with a peach-strawberry jam note in the finish. Great balance with minerals and acidity.

적절한 산미와 여리여리하면서도 밸런스가 좋음
약간의 단맛이 밸런스를 받쳐주는 느낌
좀 더 숙성가능할듯

Stand up tasting. A step up over the regular 2012 with pronounced berry notes and better richness.

Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): Similar to the 2015 vintage this was a wine that we haven’t had much of although I truly love the LGD Rose and this is probably the little sister to that. It was drinking nicely. The food was excellent and it worked as a nice pairing to that.

Love pink. Brioche, cherries and rose. Acid comes in a rather hard way and should mellow in a few years.
