Straw color. Aromas of peache, pear, lemon, honey, white flowers, smoke. High acidity, medium body. Taste of lemon, green apple, honey. Mineral. Medium+ finish.

This finally came around over the last couple months. Still acidic, but it has a much deeper and more intense fruit profile with some light sweetness to balance it out. Quite nice. This should hold for a while.

Lotsa lemon SweeTarts on the nose along with something deeper, really another, might even say plusher, layer. Abundant citrus on the palate, lemon mostly. Very lively; the aromas outclassing the flavors, for me, right now, but I like this a lot.

Odd duck right now. Felt a bit unbalanced. Lightly sweet, good fruit, with a strong sour acidity. Felt like the sweetness and acid just havent moderated yet. Still good, but this has enough upside that I think people should wait another year.

È molto giovane, sia chiaro, ma si intravedono in nuce i numeri di un grande vino. Naso delicato e poliedrico, bocca appunto ancora sbilanciata sulla verticalità ma che offre una cremosità che non lascia dubbi sull'avvenire. Chiusura lunga agrumata. Ripassare tra qualche anno.

N....low intensity, juiced red apples, a bit of toffee.
C....pale straw
T...marzipan, ground almonds, ripe orange, red apples, gentle tannins, style is medium-dry not properly dry; rock melon with lemon drizzled over it; some quince and grapefruit; some earthy limestone minerals; some lemon pith; a bit of tart apricot; some soft wood/oak flavours; just very good, interesting Verdicchio.
VFM?....feels like £20.00 but costs £13.65. Will buy again, especially in reportedly good years.

What a great example of the relatively unknown joys and diversity of Italian white wines. This featured a fresh and assertive attack of acidity, mineral and crazy green herbs. Greenblanket knows that all of that sounds extreme but somehow it isn’t and the energy and brightness and bitterness just kept inviting him back for another sip. Things get even better with food. The wine loved the fresh tomatoes, arugula and especially the salsa verde served with our tagliata but not so much the ribeye.

Always a great value burned through 5 bottles in the early heat of the beginning of summer, sea spray citrus tropical fruits and balancing acidity lovely stuff
This wine is all about the acidity and the minerality. It is fresh, piercing, and palate cleansing with citrus and herbal notes, and a medium to minus body. A seafood (especially shellfish) wine that paired perfectly with our Shrimp Santorini (=tomatoes, olives, Feta). Will continue to delight for at least a couple more years.

Nice balance between acidosis and minerals with body of the wine. Tastes of citruses and almonds. The wine has character and very well paire with seafood and fish. One bottle is not enough for the dinner ;)

Consistently quite good. Final bottle of two cases, and it's all I can do not to reload right this minute. Lovely freshness, light>medium body, plenty of mineral, fresh floral, etc. A simple, honest joy. Now and the next few years. recommended+
Lemons, lime, underripe white peach. Green almond on the finish. Very mineral driven but not salty. Great acid. Light on its feet but still full bodied. Paied with cockles; would also be great with oysters.

Begins with banana skin, guava, lime zest aromas, with dense tropical fruit and citrus extract flavors coming on right after opening the bottles. Zippy acidity and a fresh finish, such a great wine.

PnP the first taste was a little too acidic for me, but within minutes this has settled down to be a really nice wine.
Minerality and a hint of white flowers on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced - saline, minerals, unripe peach; medium+ acidity comes more to the fore on the finish, which is long, crisp and more-ish.
Excellent QPR at ~US$13

Quite a floral wine and definitely everything about it speaks of solid wine making. Floral, soft citrus , at time soft honey feel. Bright and fresh but in no way sharp, made with a soft hand and a really pretty expression of verdicchio. 90-91

Lime, crushed rock, gardenia, a hint of white pepper on the nose. Fresh core of crystalline acid fruit on the palate with some tangerine flavors and floral aromatics and a bitter rind lift at the back into a long electric acid finish.

consistent with previous bottles: good+ freshness, saline/mineral/place notes with some pear, apple and white floral accents on the nose. Really solid partner to grilled chicken tonight. Given the high quality, and the very modest price, this is highly recommended+
Last bottle. I need to see if I can get more. This one seemed particularly delicious. It showed quite a bit of saline and petrichor. I can't think of a better wine at this price.
Just a really nice wine, sneaks up on you with lovely mineral and fruit, deft touch year in and out. Still drinking 2018 and this is as good or better.

PnP; natural cork. Bright, hay-colored, clear. Aromas focus on soil/mineral, white fruits/flowers. Medium-bodied, understated, clean, with a bit more length as the bottle is finished. This is excellent in its youth, and bodes well for short and mid-term cellaring, if that's your bag. A head-spinningly good value, and for those that like balanced, dry whites with our without food, this is your (budget) wine. 13,0% abv. recommended+
I don't like it, I love it! What a great bottle, and the QPR is out of sight.
Light/medium body. Drinks beautifully right out of the gate. Strong, but carries you right along. Notes of lemon and minerals with exc balance and length. Went beautifully with grilled seafood. 8/18/20: Consistent, tho this one was a tad rougher. (This was the first of the six from Corkscrew) 9/17/20: Consistent. (this one on LI). 9/27/20: Took about 2o min to open. Then it really began to sing. Strong lemon note this time. 12/30/20: Good from the get-go this time. Damn, this is something! 1/24/21: Consistent 4/8/22: Damn this is good!

Hard to believe I haven't gotten around to posting a tasting note on this vintage yet, as I think I've gone through the better part of a case in the last few months. Assuming I can find it, this wine is an annual buy in terms of Summer whites.
Focused nose, like a laser beam of saline crispness.
Light-bodied & refreshing on the palate. Great QPR.
