Tropical notes have dissipated, still the texture and weight are there, acidity is a little light, waxy vague peach with bitter orange and hazelnut skin is the dominant tone at the point. Drink up

Found in the cellar. Last bottle from a cache of 9 that was forgotten. I was not sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised that while the fresh and vibrant palate of earlier bottles had gone the wine took on a Jura like quality. Sight oxidation with a nutty palate, interesting depth and mouth feel. Quite enjoyable.

Very clear pale gold. Quite nutty on the nose, with quince and orange zest notes. Rich, full, and very clearly mature on the palate. Probably starting to go over. Floral, lemony, almost oily palate. Richly textured, even a touch tannic. Very clean, precise flavours, with excellent length. Apparently, it's a blend of sauvignon blanc, garganega and tocai

Quite a pale lemon yellow colour. Very attractive, enticing nose: white flowers, lemon with just a bit of weight with a feeling of nuttiness and maybe quince. Rich, full palate, with some delicious, vibrant mature notes, the sense of maturity mainly coming from the weight in the mouth, I think. There's a creamy, slightly citrus- and olive-oily feel. Loads and loads of character and depth. Beautifully balanced, and very clean. Really terrific, enormous length with delicious flavours lingering in the mouth long after. The last bottle I had of this was around 15 months ago. This bottle feels about two years younger than that bottle. For £13 a bottle in 2008, this is terrific, quality drinking.

12.5% A pale golden colour. Rich, nutty nose with some pear/quince notes. Clearly mature on the palate, but not in any detrimental sense. Rich and oily with a hint of citrus. Very clean, very balanced. Excellent length with good flavours lingering long after. Very impressive for £13 (in 2008).

Quintarelli Tasting (San Francisco Wine Trading Company): A blend of equal parts sauvignon blanc, garganega and tocai. Light straw color. Nectar of white flowers on the nose. Oily on the palate with green apple and lemon peel, and tangy acidity. Nice rich finish without obvious oak. I'm not sure if i'd pay the tariff here ($37 regular price), but this is a very nice wine.

Pleasant dry wine, nice aromatics and decent finish, very food friendly. Great quality relative to price. I'm just more of a Burgundy man, the style isn't me, so I may be conservative with my score.

Still going strong and not showing any signs of decline. I liked this a lot over lunch with good freshness, pear, citrus, chalky minerality.

From magnum, the wine still showed amazing freshness on the palate while finishing with good length.
