Nose has petrol notes. Nice and bright. Palate has lovely acidity and complexity. A nicely made Riesling. Paired perfectly with a coconut curry dish with just a hint of spicy heat. Would buy again.

PnP, chilled. Only slightly off-dry (Kabinett style). Aromas of citrus, with a touch of minerality. The palate yielded some green apple, peach, lemon/lime, and that touch of minerality, with good acidity. May be Chateau Ste Michelle's best food pairing Riesling, especially with some Cantonese and Sichuan dishes on the Lunar New Year. Should hold for several years.

Andrew brought to CDC at Villagio. Not positive about the vintage we drank. Blind we all knew it was Riesling, but from where. Nice acid-sweet balance. Refreshing. 90+ pts

PnP. On the nose, lemon, grapefruit , peach, melon and wet stone. Similar flavors with lemon, grapefruit, peach, melon, a hint of herbal. Off dry, but plenty of acidity to carry it.

Petrol and stone fruit notes on a mineral laden nose.
Some sweetness on the palate but it gets more than offset by the acidity. It’s great but I would give it 4 or 5 years in the cellar before I drink my next bottle.

Nicely paired with a coconut curry dish. Nose had some petrol notes, green apple, almost a honeysuckle note . Palate is fresh, clean and carries nice acidity to the finish . Enjoyable Would buy again

Very nice though ultimately simple. Diesel and rose petal on the nose. First sip is refreshing and flavourful. Crunchy apple and mineral opening to rose (a spot of Turkish delight?) and honey as it warms in the glass. Good balance of acidity and body. Slightly effervescent. Shortish finish. Pleasant but doesn't live long in the memory. Well made riesling for the price.

A: Pale lemon N: Medium (+) nose of petrol, lime, peach, honey P: Off dry, medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol, medium (+) intensity, medium (+) body, medium finish C: I would like more acidity to deal with this residual sugar. Its the sugar that persists on the finish here. Its off balance. Good intensity and a clipped finish for the fruit. Lacks complexity but thats the idea for this wine. Good typicity here. Good quality wine which would improve with more acidity and a longer finish for the fruit. My DH used to love this stuff. Its not really my cup of tea anymore,

Mineral and lactic impressions in the bouquet. On the palate minerals and special in a way I am not familiar with. Candy and lemon impressions in a light and friendly way. Good freshness.

Very pale gold / green in the glass. Expressive nose of ripe pear, crushed coriander seed, petrol, lemon peel, lime, white flowers and beeswax. The palate provides a wonderful attack with precise acidity followed by sumptuous texure, beautifully defined stone and orchard fruits, lychee and a lick of minerality. The finish is very pure and balanced. Just off-dry this is a lovely riesling now hitting its stride. Will be a superb addition to the dinner table with spicy or fragrant food. Good value.

27042022 - Light & translucent pale straw color. Nose; some petrol initially then followed with lime & citrus peel, stone fruit ; pear, and mineral notes. Medium dry to sweet wine with mouth watering acidity. Refreshing and balanced on the palate with a clean finish of some wet stone & minerals. Went well with our Thai dishes during my lunch catchup session today. Wine is definitely better with food as the sweetness is mellowed

This wine never disappoints. Clear, pale yellow in color, floral and white fruit/stone fruit on the nose, light to medium body, nice acidity, with hints of stone and white fruit on the palate. Medium finish that leaves my mouth watering for more. This is a really great wine for the money.

92 Medium straw color. Lively floral aromas (honeysuckle) tangerine (pit fruit) with citrus highlights. Medium plus acid. Medium body with a round mouth. On the dry side of medium dry. Flavors of tropical fruit, honey, pineapple, finishing with a crisp citrus rind. The finish takes a while. Wait for it.

Purchased after a Wine Spectator 91pt recommendation & Wine of the Year 2021 by the Sommeliers Choice Awards. Pale lemon in colour with slightly restrained aromas of petrol, wet gravel, floral & peach. Noticeable petulance on the glass. On the palate, medium bodied citrus/lime, petrol, floral, honey, vibrant high acidity, & a long finish to spice & a chalky minerality. This wine is slightly off dry, lovely, crisp & a pleasure to drink!

This is a collaboration between well-known Washington Riesling producer Chateau Ste. Michelle and one of Germany’s top producers, Dr. Loosen. 12% alcohol. Doesn’t have the same nose as the other two (comparing to JJPrum and NY State Riesling). Not as open and more fruit forward, but it started open up more with time. However, I like the acidity on the palate. It’s the least sweet. There’s some minerality and spice too.
