Golden. Floral. Nice texture. Lovely end palate grip. Saline. Some tropical notes - papaya and green passionfruit. Stone fruit - especially Apricots. Coconut and vanilla. Fresh mouthwatering acidity and focus. Long. Rich and Intense.

Coravin pour. Pale golden color. Grapefruit, gardenia, and subtle pine nut and vanilla cream. Dry, slightly glossy, and modestly tart palate. Mouth filling acidity. Blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle.
This was fun and interesting, but more tart (sour) than I like. It’s like fresh squeezed juice. Had this with a late breakfast at Somm in Hong Kong.

Light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe tropical fruits of lychee & pineapple, citrus notes & stone fruits with overtones of floral & mineral notes, some grassy notes, herbal & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of grapefruit, lemons/limes, melon & green apples with minerals, herbs & some oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & should develop further with additional aging.

Found this quite enjoyable. Fresh - citrus, floral, chert notes came through first. Honeysuckle as previously mentioned and juicy white stone fruit emerged. Soft on the finish with some length. Nice balance and finesse. A pleasant pre-supper sipper.

Passion fruit, passion fruit and more passion fruit. Got some lemon, apples too. Not much development to speak of besides the fresh fruits. Concentration of the fruits coming across nicely, this definitely has the quality to age.

Vibrant, fresh and packed with ripe, yellow citrus fruits, flowers, honeysuckle and white peach, this is perfect for near-term, lively tasting. Drink from 2023-2030.

Trinity Wines tasting (Stavros Niarchos): Quite reductive, fresh, lime, citrus, lemon, flinty, fresh fruit, citrus, juicy, palate lime flavored, again reductive, citrus, high acidity, very tight, med to full body, long finish

Dine out (Almyriki restaurant): 72% Sauvignon Blanc, 22% Semillon, 6% Muscadelle, 9 months in oak, 50% new The wine is very youthful, showing citrus, fresh fruit, pear, nectarine, thin oak frame, extrovert, bitter orange, a strong fresh herbal note right in the middle. In the palate, the wine shows the same profile, sweet notes with the oak starting taller here, laser like texture, very tasty, high acidity, nice minty freshness, medium body, persistent long finish

Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): I don’t think I realized how many of the Bordeaux estates make a white although I suppose it makes sense as it can get quite warm in the summer and there’s a point where you’d rather drink white. Originally made as a wine for the family but when the customs officials did not accept that then it was adjusted to be a wine for sale. Very popular and very reasonable. Most of these seem to do best served a bit on the chilled side. This was a nice version tending towards the honey with just a small background of lime. Mostly SB but also includes Semillion and Muscadet (first one we’ve had with the later).
