An ok pop n'pour. Decent QPR mid-teens. Nice vanilla-zin nose. Zin flavors not integrated well, but predominant. Little tannins and finish. Makes for a pleasant smooth pour, but not very exciting.

Well blended red with decent acidty and fruit to balance it out. Not a lot of complex notes but you get lots of berrie, with a hint of spice and no tannins. Good for large crowds and pair with good old American appetizers, chicken and pasta dishes.

Blend of Zinfandel and Petite Syrah, nose of black cherry, black berry, and dusty earth, same on the palate, big body, mouth filling fruit, tasty, a $15 TJ bargain, and a long, flavorful finish, better the second night.

Colour: dark, deep red turning purple. Nose: blackberry jam or creme de mûre. Taste: Blackberry jam just like on the nose, dark cherry, a little sweetness and bitterness. Big body, almost jammy, medium tannin and acidity.

It’s been a few vintages since I had some Phantom. This was always one of the best QPRs on the market. This one is disappointing. It’s not bad, but it lacks the character of previous vintages - it’s too smooth. The character of the Zin doesn’t really come through. Still good for the price, just not what I expected

Not my thing. No finesse here. Just over extracted which is unfortunate because I like petite sirah and zinfandel. Very dark color as you'd expect with 50+% PS. Dark fruit but no zin influence. Plus the use of American oak results in an astringent finish with vanilla note.

Blend of Zinfandel and Petite Syrah, nose of allspice, black cherry, black berry, and dusty earth, same on the palate, big body, mouth filling fruit, tasty, needs one year in the cellar to peak but delicious now so why wait, and a long, flavorful finish, better the second night.

This is an interesting wine. Not your typical just jam zin. Medium bodied, very lingering finish. Overall a wine worth getting and consuming, which should be in the near future.

This wine is spectacular for the price. One of the best consistent values I’ve ever come across.

Interesting Zin blend that is a real bargain at $13.50 sale price. Very reliable over many vintages and enjoyed by guests whenever I pour this wine.

About as boring as a wine can get. Lacks anything interesting, but is what I'd call the common denominator of "red wine from California"

Wasn't all that. A bit dry and lacking the pleasant fruit we like.

Blackberry, cherry, plum, white pepper, dry wood, vanilla green bell pepper, mineral. Big and a bit hot and heavy but still well constructed.

Heavy handed and unintegrated oak tasted like was added from wood chips.
