Cherries, flowers and a touch of cocoa shine through in the nose and on the medium-bodied, soft, refined, plummy palate. This is perfect for early drinking pleasure. Drink from 2024-2030.

Flowers, black cherries, chocolate, espresso, licorice, and black raspberries form the perfume. On the palate, the wine is elegant, silky, refined, and fresh, with lift, energy, and a hint of spice in the mint-accented finish. This is already delicious in your glass. Drink from 2024-2042.

UGC 2021 Bordeaux (Vibiana, Los Angeles, CA): The nose is pure and berry-driven with fresh tones of raspberries, red cherries, sour red fruits, licorice, incense, earth notes, tobacco leaf, and a good amount of freshly picked roses. There is a headiness to the nose that is enticing and fresh with good depth. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and shows off the freshness of the nose along with crisp, medium acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is really pretty right now and has room to develop. This is one of the wines of the tasting where I really would love to see where it will go with 5-8+ years of aging.

UGCB Amsterdam, walkaround tasting so just short notes.: Rustic and very firm. A lot of good acidity and length. Overall a beautiful wine.

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting (Zuiderkerk): Quite spicy and quite oaky, ambitious extraction, long but dry finish. A question mark.

Bordeaux 2021 Arrivage Tasting (Dolder Grand, Zurich): Sweet spices as the most distinguishing feature here, almost clouding the ripe cherry fruit. Juicy palate, acidity-driven with a wobbly balance.
