Average riesling. Would drink again if the price is right. It's perfectly serviceable but seemed to be lacking something. Classic petrol aroma. Tart flavour and a bit of fruitiness but not particularly complex.

Not so good. Aromas of green apple. peach, and wet stone. Tastes slightly of pear and tart green apple. Too much tartness and not enough balance. This is not very good.

Straw and very light green hue. Simple nose has a light pear and lemony sweetness with a note of cold rubber ball. Very light bodied, crisp acidity, and mellow flavors of citrus fruit and beeswax. Short finish. Great match with the yellow curry we made for dinner. (4+9+15+5) = 84

Clear, light yellow color. Medium nose of white orchard fruit with some floral and stone. Dry to slightly off dry with refreshing acidity. Flavor of white orchard fruit, stone, and lime that segues to hint of floral on the palate. Light body, well balanced on a simple structure, with a short finish followed by sustained, light, quenching acidity. Outstanding QPR.

Although vinted with a German identity, this wine really had an Alsatian heart with its white peach nose and delicate buttery palate. A great QPR at under $10.

Wines of Washington State (Fort Collins): Tasted Blind. Straw colored, very light. Stony, apple, melon nose. Dry, nice acidity and minerality with crisp clean fruit. Really enjoyable. A number of people guessed Riesling.

Nose of peaches, baked apple, and a hint of lime. Very tasty, featuring peach juice leading into a lime finish. Dry yet ripe, with some minerality as well. I personally like it better at room temperature than chilled- it tasted more juicy. If it has a flaw, it's only that the finish isn't longer.

Very good, bordering on excellent. Crisp and refreshing, and if very cold with near laser-like precision like a good gruner-veltliner. I was imagining a little minerality with this, but nothing like a good Alsatian dry white.

Purchased based upon the QPR alert that seems to be buzzing this particular ste michelle, and yes for the most part it really does deliver the goods, good peach flavors, slighty soapy, even a dab of minerla on the finish. Would purchase again.

Nice wine for the money. Agree with the posts that it is dryer than many other reislings, especially those from California, Washington or Oregon. Hints of gasoline on the nose, with taste of lemon, melon, green apple on the palate. Not much of a finish. Nice value.

Nice enough, especially if you find most rieslings too sweet. Well worth the price (somewhere under $10; I paid $5.99 on sale). Good with friends to complement a dinner. Nothing to write home about, but then, for that price, you wouldn't expect that it would be.

Transparent with very light, straw, color. Lemon, pear, and notes of apple, honey, and mineral on the nose. Light bodied, with good acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Dry at 13%abv. Much dryer than most non-Alsatian styles, and without the petrol, but fruity enough to easily mistake for higher residual sugar, yet balanced with crisp acidity. Carrying to the palate are lemons, pears, apples, grapefruit, and minerals with a very lengthy, candy, lemon-drop finish. Food friendly and a real value. This will be my "house white" for a while.

Pleasantly dry (compared to most Rieslings), with green apple, pear and quince notes, all wrapped in a white pepper-like spiciness. Refreshingly austere and taught, if a bit light weight, with a great QPR for fans of this style. Recommended.

hands down the best bottle of wine for the price I've ever had. This wine could seriously be a the ringer out of all WA rieslings and maybe even some Germans??? And for 6bucks it's just incredible! All kinds of green apple skins, chalks, lemon zest, super sharp acids and some florall notes. Razor sharp on the palate w/just a hint of sweet. Seriously.....6 bucks!!!!

Great wine for the $! It was fairly dry with a little acidity. It also had some sweetness which matched very well with the split pea and ham soup. Some honey drizzled lemon, orange, and sweet grapefruit on the palate. Should buy a case of this at the start of every summer.

I drank this the next night and was pleasantly surprised. I think Roy Hersch mentioned this wine awhile ago and I have to concur that it is the best $7 white I've had. I was scared to drink what CSM may call a dry riesling but it actually was fairly dry. Initial nose of petrol, guava, and ripe pear. The absence of oak was such a relief after my experience the previous night. This wine was crisp and clean with no caffeine. Not quite as dry on the palate as I like in a riesling but no complaints as it was acidic and minerally driven. It actually enlivened the palate as the Aubert killed the palate. A mouth puckering finish left me wondering why we spend so much on trophy wine when blue collar wine can be just as good if not better. 88 pts.

Blind Riesling Tasting (My house): Tasted blind. Really nice nose. There are interesting floral elements. White pepper too? Good acidity. The crispest, most minerally Riesling yet. I really like this one. Green apple. But a little one dimensional.

Very pale yellow. Nose has peach, melon with a little bit of slaty sulphur. Very persistent nose. The palate has boat loads of minerality and acidity. Light to medium bodied. A little void of good fruit. But very crisp and acidic. Lemony citrus with green apples.

I was bombarded with lime zest, plus a little green apple. Others found peach and floral aromas. Very good sugar/acid balance in this wine. Nice with moderately spicy food as well. Could be a little fuller-flavored, but otherwise no objections. Definite re-buy/house white wine candidate.

Always a good value - one of my favorite wines in an oftentimes boring CSM portfolio - this is forward and bright with clean flavors of green apple, white flowers and crushed stones. Nice balance with just a touch of sweentess to keep this juicy.

This compares favorably to the other Rieslings from Chateau Ste. Michelle. Pale yellow in the glass. On the nose I got melon, peach, pineapple, and vanilla as the wine opened up, with some hints of honeysuckle as well. On the palate this was very tropical with a nice mouthfeel. For a "dry" Riesling I didn't think it was very dry at all. Maybe the intensity of the fruit flavors masked that a little, but this doesn't come close to being as dry as an Alsacian or Australian Riesling. The finish was tropical and citrus, and lasted about 30 seconds. I was pleased with this wine, but not overly impressed. This paired well with smoked salmon and goat cheese, and think this would be a pretty good food wine.
