A darker hue of yellow in the glass, this is on the creamy side for a white burgundy with a fuller mouthfeel that holds up the lemon/citrus and slate palate. Lush and smooth with a longer finish and in the prime of its drinking window.

straw-yellow colour with oatmeal leading on the nose, with lemon in in the background with a faint hint of (highland!) toffee, vanilla and fennel. Swirling brings forward sherbetty lemon.
On the palate lemon and toffee fight it out, but giving the feeling it needed something to fill the gap between them. Acidity is nicely judged, refreshing without shocking.
Might be worth leaving this for another 2-3 years though I wouldn't risk leaving it much more than that.

Lemon yellow color. Sweet aromas of butterscotch, maybe a tropical bent? Creamy creamy creamy lemon buttery curd with abundant minerality, and a zesty lemon acidity to finish. Medium bodied with a lasting zesty stony finish.

First time with a Pouilly fuissé. Drank alongside scallop with orange peel sauce.
Nose: Mineral, creme de citron, citrus, orchard fruits and a hint of oak at the end.
Palate: Explosive and heavy. Still young. I agree with Amateurvino that this wine feels almost tannic !! The fruits came out in the midpalate with green apple, creme de citron, lime and some flowers as well. Then the finish is mineral with a buttery oak feel to it.
Great wine but 2-3 years from prime.

Once tasted at 7 course dinner at gourmet restaurant in Stockholm, remembered it as absolutely perfect w gravad salmon. This was a little lighter and had less complexity and length. Still a quality chardonnay w burgundian character. Great w food tday.

Really classy with a hint of buttery tones and honey, excellent dryness and acidity. Racy like a high class Chablis PC! Will develop further and be enjoyable for another 5-7 years!

First sniff, very cold! Tons of cold mineral notes with herb, orchard fruits with spicy oak, tight but show good underlying material that clearly need more aging. Refreshing, crisp on the palate with cold white fruits, mineral and touch of oak, slightly simple. Juicy, vibrant and fresh finish. Give it 3yrs and it would be improved. Buy - No.

Full bore but not neccessairly in its fruit character. Are certain density or heavy-set to the wine. Much more stuffing than I expected from 2008, but maybe that is because I was drinking a trocken Riesling immediately before.

Declassified 1er cru fruit, I am told. Nice, little bit on the green side, with an almost tannic bite on the mouthfeel. Good balance overall - I'm really liking the feel on all of these Vincent (negociant) and Chateau de Fuisse (estate) wines. 87-88
