Really good. Opened it and drank with a spinach, cheese and chicken ravioli dish. Drank the rest through the evening. Was really well rounded and starting to age nicely. I expect ti will continue to do so.

At BWC tasting, my least favorite. Cranberries and cherries on nose, with evident heat. Juicy red fruit and white pepper notes on palate. Solid pinot, but a step below most of the others at the table.

Day 1: Bold black cherry with some nice tannins and smooth mouthfeel. A solid pinot but not great at $24. Day 2: the light tannins receded a bit and the fruit has come forward. big red raspberry that's smooth on the palate.

Sweet flower nectar and a little nice something funky on the nose. A little one-dimensional flavor-wise. Bright red fruit and that's about it. Not bad. Not great, but not bad.

Initially served too chilled, reminded me of grape cool aid. As it warmed, developed pinot flavors, like a cross between California and red burgundy. Dark color, moderate intensity, soft round finish. Served with grilled wild duck, good match although a touch light for the dish. Suggest drinking in 3-4 years. Good value.

Splash decant for an hour. Not a lot on the nose but a whiff of cherry. Oddly the palate was totally back end loaded with nothing up front. Primarily cherry notes and not much else happening. Mouthfeel of water lacking viscosity. Finish was amazing long, shocking actually. Simple yet unintrusive.

Medium-to-deep ruby. Moderate-to-fully intense nose showing raspberry, underbrush and spice aromas. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and medium silky tannins. The flavors are similar to the nose. The middle palate is solid, with wonderful freshness and purity of fruit. Medium, smooth finish. This is a wine that has a lot to like...and at a good price! Drink now-12/15.

I really enjoyed this wine for its fresh, clean, and vibrant aromas. On the nose, I picked up on a really enjoyable fresh-picked raspberry thing that was consistent over the course of several hours. Good flavors and experience after that but I'd buy it again just for the aromatic experience.

Immediately approachable, forward and full of nice raspberry and strawberry fruit. A bit of wood, and forest floor. Only constructive comment would be perhaps lacking the acidic & tannic structure to pair with richer foods - so just pair with something delicate! Otherwise, well-balanced, smooth finish. Great value.

Lots of strawberry perfume and hints of spice with some raspberry. Very light, easy palate of the aforementioned berries. Nice acidity, low tannin, fruit forward. Finishes on a light wood note. - Tasted at Ponzi 8/17/10

Raspberry and floral flavors with fine tannin and a nice bright minerality. It has a pretty, cherry nose. Good spice comes on the back end and nice, ripe berry on the finish. - Tasted at Marché Bacchus 7/17/10

Slightly reserved nose of strawberries/raspberries. More of the same on the palate along with some plum flavors. Light-bodied. Medium acidity. Chalky minerality.

North Willamette Vintner's Wine Trail Weekend; 4/10/2010-4/11/2010: Nice and soft nose, pleasing fruits throughout. Quite tasty and displays some soft red fruits, with hardly any tannins. Definitely a drink now style wine, and it's quite good for that. However, at $28 I would expect a LOT more from my Oregon Pinot Noir. There's lots of options out there for fairly serious wine in the $30 range.

Consumed at Roy's in Sarasota. Dark burgundy color. Modest nose of red fruits. Full rich mid palate of cherry, plum and spice. Good balance and acidity. Moderate finish. Very nice.

From a restaurant list and color hard to judge, but it seemed on the lighter side. Initial impression was of tart cranberries with a touch of sugar-cinnamon spice. Crisp and clean, but rather simple.

This wine is a testament to Oregon's fabulous 08' vintage . Dark ruby red color. Concentration like you would expect from much more expensive pinot. Aromas of stawberry and flowers with a beautiful cherry and spice finish. Superb balance! Not too much fruit, not too much spice. A wine for the masses. OK....here goes.....this is the $20 pinot I have been searching for. My first exposure to Ponzi vinyards...I see their previous vintages were so-so. This one is different. Gonna load up on this one before word gets out. This could even gain a point or two with age.

A decent value pinot - immediately showed as better than the Wrath pinot tasted before it. Typical Oregon pinot profile, fine for the price.

A young Pinot from Oregon - previously unknown to me.
We drank it after the two WS pinots.
Two noticed a marked effervescent after taste
Started with zero nose but filled out within 20 minutes
