Deep golden. Nose initially of wood and sherry. Mouth, sharp, nutty, wood, sharply drying. Within 5 mins, TCA appears. Oxidised and corked. Dead and deader.

Cork slightly proud leading to concerns over storage. Light straw. Flowers, bread, white fruit. mouth clean. Fruity, floral, ending a bit nutty. Good acidity providing a fresh profile. This tastes fresh and lively but mouth coating and long...

Bought this wine in 2011 and remembered it as being very aromatic with a complex and rich finish. On Christmas eve, the wine was a disaster. Nothing going on the nose nor the palate so I had to open a different wine. Bottle variation ?

PnP. Disappointed. Deep rich gold in color. Not much on the nose or palate, save for a lemony essence. This is a far cry from the rich, nutty, complex bottle I had back in 2011. Not sure if this is just bottle variation, but this bottle is very similar to a friend's bottle we had a few months ago (purchased together). Mine has been properly stored, so not sure what's going on.

Medium lemon colour heading to gold. Medium, subtle intriguing nose, lime, floral, brioche, apricot, the sweetness of ripe fruit is evident but with a streak of minerality. Full bodied palate which is fruit forward with notable oak, vanilla, lime, quite viscous, but acidity comes through and cleanses. Complex with a great mineral finish, just a touch warm. Plenty of potential for the next five years, has depth and acidity to last and mellow nicely. Very very good wine which could be confused for a top Burgundy if served blind.

I'm getting much less fruit/flowers and more nutty characteristics on this wine than others have mentioned. There is some stone/tropical fruit there, but underneath a rich almost creamy nutty layer. There's a bit of acid, but I'm thinking this definitely underwent malolactic fermentation and may have seen a bit of oak treatment as well. I know many like that but it's a bit of a detractor for my palate. That being said, the other word that comes to mind when drinking this is clean. Taste preferences aside, there's hardly a flaw to be found and it has a long pleasant finish. It clearly comes from quality grapes and is well-made.

Really spot on example of a well-made soave. Lovely nose of stone fruit, some mineral, and yellow fruits. Great freshness and acid balance. A bit weightier than most soave but carries itself well. Did well overnight with just a cork. This one will keep but not sure it will get any better.

No detailed notes as drunk over NYE dinner. but have lsting impression of a lovely complex wine with great balance of fruit to acidity and well integrated subtle oakiness with long finish. Not cheap, but special wine and a far cry from most other soave wines.

Good Quality-to-Price-Ratio. Faint nose of fruit, lovely golden color, good palate - white and yellow fruit plus strawberries, great balance, some complexity and a surprisingly intense finish. Just very pleasurable to drink. No big acidic backbone here to make one think ahead in years; I'd say drink this one right now - and why not?

Incredible dark golden colour. Nose of peach and apricot. On palate, fruit but also nice minerality with punch and complexity. This wine defines soave at the highest level.

Beautiful golden yellow color. On the nose deep, ripe yellow fruits with apricots, peach and citrus topped of with a layer of nicely integrated nutty oak. Honey and some waxy whiffs indicate early maturity. Rich, full-bodied palate with high, balanced acidity. Great intensity and length with a lovely mineralic finish. Very good.

Dark yellow color, interesting nose. Some oak. I liked it, but I'll reserve judgement, having never had a Soave other than a Bolla many years ago. Seems like it'd be good with food.

Gambero Rosso (Metropolitan Pavilion): The nose showed pear, spring flowers, and wet stones. On the palate, it showed a medium, plush body with stone fruits, more floral notes and minerals. A long, refreshing finish added exclamation to an already goergeous expression of Soave.

Very good. Mid lemon colour with slight bronze tint. Spicy, citrus nose . Intense and long. Oak is a little unintengrated at present. Yellow apples, pear, peach, floral, exotic spice and a little steel / flint minerality. Good complexity. Keep for further 1-2 before drinking so the oaking is more subtle. Concentration and intensity are very good.
