Popped and poured. Nose of honeysuckle, nectarine, tangerine, lemon peel and hazelnut. Nectarine, lemon peel, hazelnut, orange creamsicle and wet stone on the palate. Very long finish. Well balanced. Served with grilled chinese bourbon chicken.

Citrus rind and beeswax on the nose. Very floral. Leads with lemon oil, preserved apricot and nectarines. Chalky minerality but the acidity was dialed way down - the bottle was soft almost erring on flabby.
Maybe a slightly off bottle, maybe the wine is advancing quicker than anticipated, maybe a dumb phase? The Alban Syrahs are outstanding, this is the first meh bottle I've encountered. I have two more so I'll find out in the next few years.

Pale yellow/gold. Fabulous legs. Lovely rich honeyed nose with just a hint of austerity to freshen it. Wonderful intensity on the palate with good weight. Seamless across the palate combining its exotic fruit with nicely integrated acidity, lovely balance. Good length. Excellent.
