Tasted in double-blind fashion at Vintage wines, with the bottle being provided by Rob Norberg. Medium gold and showing a promising nose of citrus, stones, vanilla and pear, it falls short on the palate due to a lack of acidity. The round middle is not saved by the medium-length, equally round finish. I was quite surprised (as were other tasters) when the identity of this wine was revealed. Drink now-12/13.

Evident oak on the nose, and some strange, funky aromas. Concentrated, rich and fat.
