The scent has, medium colored herbs, dill.
The taste has a good amount of acid, citrus, some apples. The taste whatsoever has maderisation wich last long in the aftertaste.
Both Krug 1989 and 1988 should be drunk asap. For 9 years ago theese two vintages was on my top 10 list and they where amazing together with the best Krug ever the 1979!
9 years later theese two amazing vintages dont include the taste anymore of: honey, fudge, deep spices, butterscotch, and licorice the complexity and aromatic parts of the wines has fallen out of the window.

Drink now and enjoy!
If you have one bottle on Magnum, I think its another story and it might be a lot better!

we had 2 bottles. The first one was perfect. At his peak. All Krug elements with bubbles and elegant acidity. From great provenance for one more decade at least. 99
