A Few Older Oregon Pinots; 4/6/2013-4/12/2013: Decanted 2 hours. Medium bright color with a touch of dust at the rim. The lovely nose is fresh, floral and gently spicy. On the palate this wine is fresh and lively with good balance and poise. Gently sweet red cherry fruit flavors are lifted by good acidity and still a touch of tannin. Very pretty. Drink now thought 2016.

Opened and drunk over two hours. - brightly colored. - gamey black fruit and exotic spice nose with loam, cinnamon and allspice. - full and still firm palate feel with flavors of black fruit, cola, beets. A bit tough and hollow at this point. - somewhat burly tannins that a few more years in the cellar might help. Drink 2009-2015.
