  • Elegant and refined. Great dried herbs.

Stuivend donker fruit, zacht zoetige drop, gemberkoek, gedroogd donker fruit. Bosaardbeiencompote. Een snuffel-bouquet! Smaak / Afdronk: Zachte zuurgraad. Boterzachte tannines, prachtige maar tegelijkertijd ingetogen vulling. Power met finesse en zachtheid, elegante power. Indrukwekkend lange en aangename afdronk. Algemeen / potentieel: Voor liefhebbers van gerijpte Ch9dP is "Hommage à Jacques Perrin" echt een ultieme ervaring. Grootste Ch9dP!. Beter gaat het niet worden… 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 15 + Smaak / Afdronk: 20 + Algemeen / potentieel: 10 = 100/100

Colour: Deep ruby red, strikingly dark for a Ch9dP. Aroma / bouquet: Concentrated, pleasant and refined bouquet. Subtle and softly sweet. Drifting dark fruit, softly sweet licorice, gingerbread, dried dark fruit. Wild strawberry compote. A sniffing bouquet! Taste / Aftertaste: Soft acidity. Buttery soft tannins, beautiful but at the same time subdued filling. Power with finesse and softness, elegant power. Impressively long and pleasant aftertaste. General / potential: For lovers of aged Ch9dP, "Hommage à Jacques Perrin" is truly an ultimate experience. Biggest Ch9dP!. It doesn't get any better... 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 15 + Taste / Aftertaste: 20 + General / potential: 10 = 100/100

  • Such a beauty! A lot of complexity on the nose. Balanced and there’s an elegance in this wine which is really charming in CDP. Absolutely love it!

  • Justin's bachelor party (Gravitas - Washington, DC): En magnum, expressive nose displaying perfectly ripe sweet black fruit, blackberry, blackberry pie, wet tobacco, garrigue, lavender, liquid smoke, soy and earth. Exceptional concentration, layers upon layers of concentrated black fruit, rich and opulent yet also silky and precise, perfect amount of acidity and earthy mineral, and a seamless long black fruit driven finish with tobacco and lavender at the end. This remains very primary and can improve for a couple more decades or longer.
