Quite developed. Licorice, iodine, leather, mushrooms, underbrush, earthy. Raisins and a bit of dried plum. Red-brown colored. A bit over its peak, at least for my liking

Fully matured, with heavy grainy sediment in the bottom of the bottle. This opened up over about 2 hours and revealed notes of truffle, underbrush, bing cherry, earth, leather, and mushroom. Tannins resolved and long finish. would pair well with more subtle Italian fare which is exactly what it was had with. At peak I would say, and should hold for maybe another year or two. My CT Santa gift. Excellent!

6/6. Quite developed nose with mushroom, earth, spice, smoke - underlying bright red fruit. Medium/full bodied, quite rich with lovely mature flavours - liquorice, leather, spice, mushroom - some bright red fruit, lovely vibrant acidity, soft, melting tannins, long harmonious spicy, liquorice finish. Just lovely and I would say at its peak.

Fully mature, seemed a little tired, but had good BdM characteristics. A joy to drink, but I wouldn't wait too much longer if I had more.
