  Molto evoluto. Non ho informazioni certe su come sia stata conservata la bottiglia, poiché l'ho acquistata da poco, ma ugualmente questa evoluzione così avanzata mi ha un po' sorpreso.
  Il colore è abbastanza concentrato ed intenso, con unghia nettamente aranciata.
  Il naso è dominato da una netta terziarizzazione dei sentori, goudron, cuoio, tabacco dolce, chinotto, rabarbaro, liquirizia, chiodo di garofano, brodo di carne, richiami ematici. Complesso.
  La bocca è nettamente balsamica, ben equilibrata, con acidità in rarefazione e tannini dolci, retrogusto brodoso e leggermente amaricante. Piacevole.
  Finale disteso, armonioso, persistente.
  Un Brunello molto buono, già forse troppo evoluto per chi non ama le terziarizzazioni eccessive, perfetto per chi le ama (come me). Probabilmente, se conservato a temperatura corretta, può permettersi anche qualche altro anno di permanenza in cantina (non troppi, però).

  Beautiful color with a nose of dark strawberry preserves, plums, licorice, soem herbs and flowers. Rich and dense while very well balanced on the palate. more dark sangiovese grosso fruit, licorice wonderful stoniness/minerality. Great texture, depth and complexity. Quite viscerally pleasing. A wine with soul. Mid peak and flat out delicious. 93pts.

  A night to remmeber .... Prum '90, Pommard '90 + more (counts manor): powerfull nose of cherry and leather, good fruit, but a bit lacking in the middle and finish (compared to the Burg...) with time the tannins mellowed and the wine gained complexity. good solid Brunello that went well with the food... i think i need more brunellos for the cellar.
