  Servi sans aeration prealable et bu sur 2 heures
  
  Robe grenat encore vive avec disque évolué
  
  Nez fruits noirs, pruneau, cuir , fumé, complexe, évolutif dans le verre
  
  attaque fraîche bouche bien équilibrée, élégante modérément puissante portée par quelques tannins résiduels.
  texture de poudre de cacao,
  aucun excès d'alcool et une acidité parfaitement dosée.
  Prune noire plus que pruneau, cassis, un peu de fruits rouge, cacao, moka.
  Une pointe d'austérité...un peu bordelaise...
  Longueur bien+.
  
  Le plus beau pradeaux ouvert ces dernières années ( 93 95 98) . Pas l'impression qu'il va s'effondrer dans les 5 ans mais pas sur qu'il s'améliore. Profitez en.

  Une teinte évoluée qui manque d'eclat, un grenat marron au bord brique assez fin, qui fait ses 30 ans.
  Le nez est strict, assez cohérent avec la premiere impression visuelle. Du cuir, du fruit noir, du fruit cuit (pruneau, confiture de mûre), du sous-bois, du fruit a noyau, du minéral: là aussi un certain manque d'eclat caractérise le vin.
  Au depart, la bouche est un peu serrée, mais l'aération lui va bien, il gagne en rondeur et les tannins se délient. On a une belle finale acidulée, un rien salivante, mais il laisse toujours une sensation terne, d'austérité, de gros millésime puissant qui manque de charme et de finesse.
  Après, si qq CR récents sont encore élogieux, je crois que ce vin aurait été plus avenant aromatiquement il y a 5 ou 7 ans.

  I once read that old Pradeaux is like old Latour. I think that´s right, even if I have not that much experience with old Latour. Extraordinary bottle. The most important thing with Pradeaux is: wait, wait, wait

  Garnet with some slight ox on the rim. Surprisingly youthful in appearance. On the nose, concentrated fruit, some hide, leather, a touch of bell pepper and tobacco leaf. The palate is a bit tired, lacks fruit and carry-through, though tertiary flavours are attractive. Good overall, if a touch thin on the finish.

  Fully mature. Mid-red color. Slightest hint of over maturity but not a negative. Tobacco, smoke, earth. Still some tannins and needs food to really shine, but a fine drink with dinner. Drink now.
