KYD #2.1: Yellow apple fruit flavor with vanilla, brown butter and biscuits. It is still clean and pure in its expression with a lovely touch of minerals. There is a touch of oak but still with a fresh and elegant acidity. Certainly a very impressive wine. Loved it!

Advanced but still providing a lot of pleasure, less so from fruit than from tertiary notes of butterscotch, honey and marzipan. One of our group detected cork taint but it eluded the rest of us altogether.

Mature flavor profile. Palate retains acidity.

Grassy, herb aromatics. It's fine, but losing energy, drink up.

Evolved and rich, this still has modest definition from its acid, but its best days are definitely behind it.
