Nose: corn, jackfruit, caramel, passion fruit, mango, brioche, yellow flowers, nutty Notes: it has always been a pleasure to taste the fullness of Lafon yet being very balanced and satisfying. The nose is full of tropical fruits mixed with creamy brioche. Full of intensity and so rich. The fatness and fullness of Lafon has always been something attractive for me and I continue to believe that despite the recent trend of producing lean Meursualts Lafon still kept its traditional style and continues to produce the style I enjoy. Clearly still quite young right now and will take quite some more years to realize its full potential. Drink: 2030+ Rating: 92

PnP. As Brad said, class in a glass. Holy $#!+. That's my feeling with this bottle. Nose is muted but the palate just explodes. Absolutely delicious white fruit with a luscious mouthfeel. Everything you want in a WB.

Heidi's Redux at local fav STG. CV, BE,KB,DD,LI & JG. What a night! Brad brought an amazing horizontal of four standout 2019 Comtes Lafon Meursault 1ers. He only listed 3 and w/o first seeking approval added a 4th. We love rule breakers! What can I say about Lafon? Well, it's become my hands down favorite white Burg producer, for my palate. I love it for its ethereal nature and top-notch fruit. Brad calls Lafon "class in the glass". I couldn't agree more. These wines do not seek to overpower you with fruit any more than a 60s/early 70s vintage 9ll Porsche sought to be a muscle car. These wines are not about showy power but rather finesse and the loveliest expression of chardonnay I can find. Tonight's Perrieres is signature Lafon! Thanks Brad!. 97+

After the Roulot Meix Chavaux 2020 this is more complex and with more deepness. Less reductive but more precise. Needs some decantation. 95-96

A great vintage for Lafon's Perrieres. This was truly class in a glass. Drink and hold.
