Interesting St Emilion. Opened 4 hours prior to drinking and left it in the cellar since I red comments regarding funky aroma. Wine is at or little passed it's prime. Already becoming more Chicago brick color which we know what it means. Prime aromas are out, dark fruits and alcohol is what jumps to the nose. Palate is smooth, sweet and wonderful. Long finish and great flavors of ripe grapes and some oak. The wine IMO has to be drink soon. Maybe one more year. The lot I purchased was not perfectly kept so corks are moist even though capsules are intact. Labels were not in great shape. Feel that I have to drink them fast. Never the less, it's a great wine

Decanted for one hour. Drank more like a left bank BdX or a Napa Cab than a right bank imo. In an early peak window with plenty of room to go. Drink or hold

Blind 80’s - 90’s Bordeaux dinner
Decanted for 30 minutes. Had a nice nose of blended red and dark fruit, spice and cedar.
Palate medium bodied + with smooth tannins, velvet, hints of chocolate powder and similar sensations to the nose and
I guess this shows that at his peak, Parker was a great taster in this region and the wines he rated highly have aged well.
