Pop n pour. Now 45 min after decant. Aromas of bright, mildly jolly rancher cherries, herbs, nice herbs, and minerals and a bit of bubblegum. Palate w bright, mildly candied cherries, herbs, minerals, mild bubblegum. Light+ tannins. Excellent acids. Medium body. Nice structure for aging at least 10 yrs based on tannins and acids. But this is also delicious now.

Decanted a portion for 1-2 hrs on day 1, slow ox’d the rest on day 2 (was better on day 2, as the initial strong syrah-like black pepper had mellowed out). Dark ruby color. Dried cranberry and raspberry on the nose. Red cassis, cranberry, slight leather, black pepper on the palate with a core of nice acidity and about 32-33 sec finish. I did prefer the 2021 over this vintage but it does have classic gamay notes on day 2.
bursting with attractive currant fruit on the nose, this wine is very soft and lush, again with currant and other dark berry. Acidity carries it and keeps it interesting. Some tannins are in fact lurking in the background. Another charming and genuine (if somewhat simple) Beaujolais

Sweet and tart red and black fruits, soil, med acid and fine tannin. A bit larger-scaled than other vintages, but still excellent QPR
